Yesterday was a very tiring day, God knows how many time she pressed that goddamn button. I woke up and checked my phone. Shit! It's already 7 am I forgot to set the alarm, I mentally calculated the time I have. So I only have 10 minutes to shower and 20 mins to travel. I guess no breakfast for today then
I hurriedly went to the bathroom and started my routine.
I arrived at the hospital at 7:25 thank God there's no traffic.
"Morning Lis" Chaeyoung and Rosé greeted
"Morning guys"
"Where's Nurse Taeyeon" I asked
"She's with Doc Wendy doing rounds" Rosé said
"Good morning to my favorite nurses, I brought some coffees and donuts. I figured some of you guys haven't had breakfast yet" A feline eyed doctor greeted. 'It's her'
"Food" Rosé said like a zombie asking for brains while her mouth is hanged open
"Thanks Doc Jennie, Rosé close your mouth" Chaeyoung answered.
"By the way this is Lisa the new nurse" Rose said while she's rummaging the donut box
"Hi, I'm Jennie" then she extended her hands
"I'm Lisa" and I gladly accepted her hands
"I think you're the one who I bumped to yesterday?"
"Ti's I" I smiled
"Sorry about that, it was an emergency and if I didn't ran my patient wouldn't make it"
"it's okay I clearly understand"
I noticed that the two girls are quiet so I looked at them and found the both of them looking at the both of us.
"Oohhhhhh the tension" Rosé said
"What kdrama is this?" Chaeyoung asked. They're both looking at us while eating donuts, lookin' like they're watching a movie
We just both laugh at their remarks. "Lisa have some coffee and donuts" Doc Jennie gestured while sipping her coffee
"By the way Lisa you forgot to answer my question yesterday" Rosé said
"What question?"
"If you're single?"
I nearly choked at my coffee, damn it's hot. I coughed and Doc Jennie handed me some tissues
"What makes you think I'm not?" I answered
"Nothing, just making sure. You're exactly my friend's type"
"Friend? Who?"
"Je--" she was immediately cutted off by Doc Jennie who stood up immediately "I have to go now guys, see you later" she walked fast and didn't even look back
"Well that's weird? I thought she's not busy every Thursday" Chaeyoung stated
"Well................" Rosé said and just sipped her coffee like she's sipping some tea
"Good morning girls" Doc Wendy greeted with Nurse Taeyeon
"Morning Doc" we said in unison
"There's a lot of food in here" Nurse Taeyeon said
"Doc Jennie bought those" I answered
"So you met her already?" Doc Wendy asked "I saw her running just now she's in a hurry she didn't even see me"
"Well.................." Rosé said again and proceeds to sip her coffee
"I'm going to room 320 to 330 now. Nurse Lisa let's go?"
"Absolutely Doc, enjoy your coffee guys" and we both walked away from the station
Ah shit here we go again
We're now in front of the room 329 when Doc Wendy asked "Are you ready for this?"
"Zimzalabim?" I answered unsurely. She opened the door and the room is a mess again
I started picking up the things scattered on the floor and placed it to where it belongs. I opened the curtains and handed Doc Wendy the charts.
"Miss Bae you food is untouched, just try eating a few please and you didn't even drink your water. What am I gonna do with you?" she sighs. Her phone rang and she fished it out of her pocket "Yes? Really? Okay I'll be there" Doc Wendy faced me and said "Sorry Lis, it's an emergency and I have to be there, just check the next room and make sure Miss Bae eats"
"Noted Doc" then Doc Wendy left immediately
"I guess it's just you and I then, I'll just check the next room and I'll be back. You can start eating now if you want" she just stared at me blankly, 'she's pretty' I thought
"Well goodbye for now" and I went out
I came back after 10 minutes since the gradma in the last room is really nice, we just talked about cats and some stuff. She even suggested me to adopt cats than to buy one.
"Miss Bae I'm back" I said as I was trying to wake her up "You didn't eat your food, I guess I'll just force it down you throat then" she looked at me shocked evident on her face "I was just joking, you leave me no choice but to feed you" I said as I laugh
"I don't want to eat"
"You don't want to but you need to"
"I said I don't"
"Just say aaaaaa" I said while I was holding the spoon right in front of her mouth
"Come on ea--"
"I SAID NO!" then she slapped both of my hands causing the food to fall on the floor. I just stared at her for a second then picked up the utensils lying on the floor
"I'll get you a new one"
"WHEN WILL YOU LEARN TO STOP?! I SAID NO! YOU'RE MAKING MY LIFE HARDER!"
"I KNOW YOUR LIFE IS HARD BUT YOU'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO MAKE IT BETTER! I DON'T WANT TO INVALIDATE YOUR FEELINGS SINCE I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH! JUST BECAUSE YOUR LIFE IS HARD DOESN'T MEAN THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU HAVE IT EASY! JUST BECAUSE YOUR LIFE IS HARD DOESN'T MEAN THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU SHOULD SUFFER TOO! STOP THINKING THAT YOU'RE A VICTIM! I exhaled heavily after letting it out, it's been a long time since I raised my voice good thing my voice didn't crack
"Like I said I'll get you a new one, and sorry if I raised my voice" I cleaned up the mess and went outside without staring back
I inhaled and exhaled heavily as I lean on the door. God, I love my job
