After Jeremiah left I changed into a t shirt and shorts and quickly threw my wet hair into a bun. I walked downstairs to see Amy and Camila crowding round Hailey and the baby as Wesley, Lucas, Parker, Louis and Noah were talking with Grayson and Jeremiah.
Trust me I was still mad at them all but I wasn't going to let that affect the fact that Hailey was home. I walked downstairs avoiding any eye contact with the men as I walked over to Hailey and hugged her.
"Omg I've missed you so much!" I said to Hailey earning a chuckle. "Same the hospital beds weren't comfy" she said making us both laugh. We turned around to Camila holding the baby which I caught Wesley in the background smirking at her and how cute Camila looked I assume.
"She's so cute" Camila said. "You won't think that when you start to hear her cry" Hailey said which we all giggled to. "I think Kenzie's probably tired so I'm going to put her to bed while Grayson makes her cot (crib) and then probably sleep myself, I'll see you guys probably tomorrow as I heard you guys are going to a ball" Hailey said to which we all nodded too.
Shortly after Hailey and Grayson went upstairs to set the baby stuff up, I did ask if they wanted help but they said they weren't doing much today.

"Time to get ready!" Amy burst through my door saying with Camila as I was reading my book. "But we've got hours until the ball" I said confused to which they giggled. "Yes but it takes time" Camila said dragging me to my closet.
"Omg I love your dress" Amy said to which I thanked her.

We all gushed over each other's dresses, after then doing our hair and makeup, I had just straightened my hair while applying red lipstick or match my dress and some mascara. Amy had put her hair in a loose bun and done natural makeup, and Camila curled her hair and did nude makeup.
After we were ready I hadn't realised but it was half 7 and the ball was at 8 so we quickly went downstairs to where all the men (Lucas, Louis, Parker, Colton, Jeremiah, Noah Wesley and Harry) were sat. When me, Amy and Camila walked into the living all eyes were on us, I mean I don't think the other girls minded it but it was a little uncomfortable as you know I had just shouted at half of them but anyhow.
I saw in the corner of my eye Jeremiah taking in my full body however I just ignored him as I was still angry but he quickly made his way over to me. "You look gorgeous" he whispered into my ear to which I just walked over to Parker and ignore Jeremiah which I could tell annoyed him as he clenched his jaw when I walked away.
"Hey" I said to Louis and Parker who were chatting. "You look gorgeous" Louis said and I knew Jeremiah heard so instead of ignoring the same statement like I did to Jeremiah I walked over and gave Louis a hug which he returned. "What was that for?" He questioned after. "A thanks" I said before Jeremiah shouted to the group that it was time to go.
In the car I sat next to Jeremiah and Amy and I had decided to just leave the argument behind when I got to the ball or at least until we got home.
When the driver arrived at the mansion everyone got out of the Limo and Jeremiah wrapped his arm round my waist to which i just accepted. "Whatever you do don't speak to anyone accept for the group" Jeremiah whispered to me as we were walking in to which I nodded to.
When entering I caught eyes with Bella and Mackenzie who were with 2 other girls that I didn't know but I assumed were from the french mafia. Trust me when I say they gave me a death glare and a half.
I quickly turned my attention to Jeremiah "I've got to go speak round some of the people hear, stay with the group" he said. "Okay" I replied back before he walked off with some guards, Colton, Lucas and Louis.
"Champagne?" I heard a familiar voice say. "Thank you Parker" I said turning to face him. "Stay with me ok?" He said keeping a cold expression on his face. "Why does everyone think I'm going to walk off?" I said being a little annoyed to which he chuckled at. "It doesn't sound like something you wouldn't do" he said making me chuckle.
Parker walked over to Amy and started a conversation as Noah walked over to me. "Would you like to dance?" Noah asked. "Sure" I said taking his hand until we were on the dance floor.
"So why did you ask me if I wanted to dance?" I asked chuckling as I placed my arms over his shoulder swaying to the music. "You looked alone and I saw Bella eyeing you up so thought I would ask you to dance" he said as he placed his hands on my waist, however kept us some distance compared to me and Jeremiah when we dance.
After a while of dancing I decided to head over to Amy, Harry, Camila, Wesley and Parker as they were sat at our table. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen which was making my stomach uneasy. "You okay?" Amy asked as she saw my expression.
"Yes I'm fine thanks" I said looking to her. We sat and chatted for a while just before I saw Bella and Mackenzie nod to a man who was stood with Jeremiah so I assumed it was the french mafia leader.
Suddenly I felt a tug on my arm to which I saw Parker pulling me. "Where are we going?" I said panicked "Angelo Demik (french mafia leader) and his guards are starting to shoot so I'm getting you out of here" he replied.
"I'm not going anywhere" I said pulling my arm from his grip. "Maeve now isn't the time come on" he said reaching out for my arm just before I saw Bella pull out her gun at Camila.
I ran over to where Wesley was begging Bella to let her leave and shoot him. "Bella stop!" I shouted grabbing the attention of all of them (Wesley, Bella, Camila, Harry, Amy and Parker) "You want me not them, what's going to happen if you shoot her? Yes she dies but so do you, at least if you killed me you'd die knowing that" I said as Bella moved her gun to me.
Just as Wesley went to pull Camila to safety Bella shot at his foot which wouldn't cause serious damage but was painful. Wesley dropped and pulled Camila down with her so they were slowly going out of Bella's sight.
"Maeve!?" I heard Jeremiah shout, running over to me as Angelo Demik and some of his guards walked out by Bella with Mackenzie as well.
"Bella don't" Jeremiah said to Bella who just laughed at her. "Enough with this girl I'm really here to kill you, I don't care if she dies or anyone else just you" Angelo said speaking about me as the 'girl'.
Angelo pulled out a gun to where me and Jeremiah were now both stood side by side as Bella was pointing a gun at me and same with Jeremiah but Angelo was holding his.
Suddenly I got pulled back by Parker who jumped straight in front of me as Angelo got ready to fire at Jeremiah, just before he did I jumped straight in-front of Jeremiah as I heard 2 gunshots go off.
