Chapter 29: Back on Holiday...

"So yea long story short we're going back on holiday again" I heard Lucia say as I walked downstairs for breakfast. "Your going on holiday? Where?" I said as I placed my self next to Olivia. It's the annual holiday we have every year for everyone like when we went to Russ-" Lucia went to say but was cut off by Rachel, I assume because I wasn't there. "Ibiza" Lucia said.

"Ah that'll be nice, where are you all going?" I asked taking a bit from an apple, "We're. All going to Miami which includes you if you haven't got it" Lucia said. "I don't think I'm going to go this time I'll probably just stay here" I said throwing my apple in the bin as I looking outside at Grayson dipping Kenzie's toes in the pool.

"It's not optional" I heard Lucia reply as it brought me out of my daze. "Well Jeremiah can't force me...plus it's one less person to pay for" I said trying not to sound rude. "Do you really think Jeremiah's going to let you stay home alone for a month while we're all in Miami?" Lucia said sounding a little annoyed, "Yes?" I asked hesitantly knowing what Jeremiah would actually say, "Well you thought wrong, anyway if you really don't want to come speak to Jeremiah" Lucia said and walked out to the pool side.

"Sorry about her she's a little stressed from work" Olivia said. "It's fine" I said shrugging it off. "But seriously your not allowed to stay home you'll have to come whether you like it or not to put it bluntly" Olivia said. "I'll speak to Jeremiah" I said walking back upstairs to change.

After I was changed I walked towards Jeremiah's office, I knocked on the door but wasn't answered so opened the door to reveal a naked woman bending over with Jeremiah behind her, before either one of them could see me I quietly closed the door and ran back to my room.

I was in shock, I mean I understood that Jeremiah and me obviously weren't together from the way there was a naked woman in his office but still it hurt a little to see that. A tear slipped down my cheek but I quickly wiped it away before it could be seen.

I walked out my bedroom again and down to where it was quiet as most people had now gone to work so I just went to grab a glass of water and was staring at the pool before I felt a breath on me and I turned to see Jeremiah stood there in his suit with a few buttons down.

"What do you want?" I said trying to forget about the woman I had previously seen in his office. He let out a deep laugh before his eyes landed back on me. "Do you really think I didn't see you in my office" he said as a whisper in my ear. "You should really do that in your bedroom otherwise people get the horrible view of what I had" I said sounding not hurt by him. He looked a little shocked for a bit as I think he probably expected me to cry over it or something.

"Now if you'll excuse me I'm going out" I said pushing his chest so he was no longer face to face with me. "Where are you going?" Jeremiah asked, "Out, also that holiday to Miami, I'm not going so you can cancel my room" I grabbing my bag and walking towards the front door. "Maeve you better come back here right now!" I heard Jeremiah shout angrily which scared me a bit as I closed the door but ignored him and quickly got in the first car I saw which I think was Parker's but he won't mind me borrowing it.

I arrived at the mall where I shopped a bit, after awhile I started to see Jeremiah's men around the place and I assumed it was the tracker in the car so I quickly left and went back to the car where I decided to drive off while they were in the shop meaning they wouldn't be looking at the tracker.

By now it was around 8 maybe 9, I had been driving for ages and wasn't caught yet so just kept going, all of a sudden I heard a loud roar of cars speeding round the corners on the motorway as I was driving.

I luckily swerved the cars but heard something attach as I was driving I kept driving as I saw the cars start to turn and were heading for me again. A beeping noise started to sound by the front of the car and I instantly knew it was a bomb as the cars stopped far back, I quickly jumped out the car, a couple seconds later the car exploded leaving a ringing tone in my ear as the explosion threw me a little further from the car.

I opened my eyes to see a few men running towards me, I got up quickly as they got nearer, all of a sudden one guy threw a punch which I quickly returned by kicking him where the sun doesn't shine, as more men ran over I hit a few with a metal car piece that had landed by me which instantly knocked them out. Until I heard more car engines speeding towards the car, I quickly hid behind a piece of the car that was in fire but still covered me.

"That's my car" i heard someone say which I assumed was Parker. "Wait..." I heard another male voice say, "She was driving this car" they said but before they could think anything bad happened to me, I quickly stood up and everyone's eyes moved to me.

Louis ran towards me "Are you okay? What happened? Who are these men?!" Louis rushed out hugging me tightly as I slowly did the same. "I don't know" I said in a bit of shock. I looked over seeing Jeremiah with watered eyes but the second i saw it, it was gone making me wonder if I actually saw it.

"Let's get you home" Parker said to me after giving me a hug. As we got into Colton's car I was sat in between Jeremiah and Louis. "What happened?" Louis said, "I don't know I was just driving knowing that you guys would find me from the tracker in the car and then I was on the motorway and heard loud cars come speeding past me and something attached to the car as they drove off, and turned there cars facing me again but they stopped and something started beeping and I knew it was a bomb so quickly got out the car and then it exploded and the men ran over and started fighting with me and then you guys came" I said feeling tiredness overcome me. Just as Louis started speaking again my eyes felt heavy and I fell asleep on Jeremiah's shoulder.

I woke up feeling a bit dizzy and looked around to see that I was being carried by someone, they looked down to me and I noticed it was Jeremiah, "What are you doing?" I asked laying my head against his chest, "Taking you to bed" was all I heard before I fell back into my slumber.

I woke up again to a brightness from the window from the sun shining through although noticing it wasn't my room. I looked around and remembered this room to be Jeremiah's, my eyes widened in shock knowing I was in his bed. "Ah your awake" I heard a familiar voice say from the corner of the room, I turned to see Jeremiah stepping out of the bathroom. "Why am I in your room?" I said getting up and heading for door.

"You need to pack your clothes for Miami, we're leaving tonight at 7" Jeremiah said ignoring my question. "I already said I'm not going!" I said annoyed. "It's not optional Maeve so you better get your clothes ready" Jeremiah said sounding irritated.

I rolled my eyes and stormed out of his room and to mine. It wasn't that I was ungrateful for the opportunity to go on holiday it was the fact I had been gone for ages and now I'm just going on holiday with all of them, but anyways I don't really have a choice.

I spent the day packing and just shopping with Rachel, Olivia and Hailey for new clothes. After getting forced into buying some more bikinis we all went home for dinner.

"Where were you?" Louis asked when we got home, as a joke I replied saying "with a guy" not expecting him to take it serious as I was holding shopping bags. "What!" Louis said sounding shocked, "I'm joking dumb ass" I said lifting my shopping bags as he let out a sigh of relief.

"Anyway we're leaving in a hour so make sure everything you want is packed and head out to the car" Louis said as I nodded.

After finishing packing I headed downstairs with my suitcases which were heavy may I add. Half way down the stairs I felt the weight of the suitcase lighten till it was gone, I looked up to see holding my suitcases one in each hand. "Thanks" I said as I reached the bottom of the stairs. He didn't reply just kept walking with my suitcases until he loaded them into the car.
