I'm back (a little later than I would've liked tbh)! I'm going to upload this and maybe a couple other scenarios today and maybe add my oc?
Also-please correct me if I get any details or something of the sort wrong! It would really help me improve as a writer and it would also help me with being consistent with details
Well, anyways...
This takes place during Stories From the Outlands: The Old Ways. I'm also going to tweak it a little bit to squeeze you in there
Hope you enjoy it :)
As a child, you lost your parents to the horrible flash freeze explosion that occurred at the Epicenter. Alone, lost, and with nowhere to go, until the uncle of your now closest friend, Artur, took you in. You and Bloodhound both grew up together in the same hunter-village. You both learned how to hunt and track together. When one of you cried, the other was there to be the shoulder to cry on. When one was angry, the other would be there to calm them down.
As the years went by, you began to have different feelings for them. Feelings that weren't necessarily negative, but they did give you butterflies in your stomach. You were sure at this point, these new feelings were love. You were unsure whether or not they reciprocated these feelings, and you also didn't want to ruin your relationship that you both already had if you were to confess how you felt.
Your POV
"Y/n, I'm nervous." I closed my book about different kinds of weapons I had found a while ago when Blood and I had snuck away from the village to an old abandoned town not too far from here. I was reading a section about Charge Rifles and all the different parts used to make one. Most of the people in the village-especially Artur, would be furious if they found out we had snuck off and brought something related to weapons back with us.
"Is this about tomorrow?" I asked. Tomorrow was the day they'd be going on probably the most important hunt of their lives. Of course they would be nervous. I slid my book under my pillow and patted the spot on my bed next to me, the mattress dipping under their weight. They nodded slightly.
"You'll be fine," I reassured, affectionately patting their back. "You've spent basically your entire life training and waiting for this moment."
"But what if I fail?" I could feel the anxiety radiating off of them. They'd obviously been worried all day about the upcoming hunt."You won't." I placed my hand atop of theirs and traced my thumb around the top of it. Without thinking, I leaned in and placed a kiss on their exposed cheek. "I believe in you."
"I-I uh," their hand traveled to where I kissed them, face red as a tomato, maybe even redder.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to do that-I thought it would-"
"Th-thanks...I think that I n-need to-bye!" Bloodhound stumbled over themselves and burst out of my bedroom door, leaving me to myself.
Great, I probably made them more nervous than before... I didn't even get my book back out and finish reading, I just flopped down on pillow and drifted off into sleep.
The next day, I woke up and rushed straight to Blood's room. I knocked on their door, and they answered within seconds. They cheeks dusted pink when they saw me. That's when last night's event played back in my head.
