RAELYNN'S POV

it had been four months since raelynn and karl had gotten together.

karl spent a majority of his nights at raelynns house and vice versa.

they still weren't out to the public yet but it was better that way. of course, their close family and friends knew and they were all careful about leaking things.

there's been only a few close calls where karl has slipped up about having a girlfriend but people weren't able to figure out whether it was true or not so the whole thing just blew over.

raelynn yawned and shuffled closer to the body that lay beside her.

an arm wrapped around her torso and pulled her even closer.

she rested her head on Karl's chest and smiled.

it was a cold winter morning and the two stayed cooped up in bed until around 12.

raelynn frowned as the warm body beside her sat up.

she looked up at the messy haired boy.

"good morning favorite person to ever exist." karl greeted, his voice still raspy from sleep.

"I'm your favorite person?" raelynn awed.

"yeah, of course you are."

"you're my favorite person too. I love you." she smiled, sitting up and kissing him on the cheek.

raelynn went to get up when karl grabbed her by the hips.

she frowned and looked at him.

he looked at rae with puppy-dog eyes.

"is that all I get?" he asked.

raelynn rolled her eyes and pecked him on the lips.

she went to get up when karl grabbed her by the jaw and kissed her again. this time it lasted longer.

they broke away from the kiss and karl flopped onto his back.

"we should get up." she said, checking the time on her phone.

"why?" he whined, covering his face with his arms

"because you promised to stream with quackity." she rolled her eyes.

"I don't remember doing that," he frowned.

"you have it written down on a sticky note on your PC monitor."

"how do you know?"

"because it's right there?" she said, pointing towards his computer.

he frowned and sat up again.

"but I want to stay in bed with you." he whined.

"I'm getting up too, y'know."

"but-"

"karl, quackity's been spamming me to wake you up for the past 5 minutes and I've only just seen it now. we can cuddle afterwards."

"or during,"

"what?-"

karl got up and swooped raelynn up in his arms. he walked over to his computer and sat down in his computer chair with her in his lap.

"you're such a dork," raelynn smiled.

"but I'm your dork."

"yeah, you're my dork."
