☠️Broken leg☠️

(Injured! Reader x Ruv)

You were sitting in bed, miserable as could be. Why, you ask. Well, because you were bed bound. Well, let's have a little flashback of why you are now bedbound and unable to leave bed.

Flashback

You were on your way back home from work. It seemed pretty normal. Nothing out of the blue. Boy were you wrong, you saw something very strange. Two people dressed in all black that looked like they were trying to hide their face came running out of a building that you usually walk by. It was suspicious nonetheless, but you had just assumed they had stolen something or maybe they just ready hated their faces. Or maybe they were like Hank, who knows. You continued walking, just being weary of your surroundings though, in case they were murderers or something like that. You passed the building safely and you continued to waltz your way along. You couldn't never have expected what happened next. An explosion behind you. You didn't have enough time to turn around before some of whatever building blew up fell on your legs, causing you to fall. You hit the ground with a thud and it knocked you out. Next thing you knew, you were in the hospital with a cast on your foot. They also informed you that whatever bomb went off behind you had toxic gases in it so when it blew, that's what came out. Luckily, you weren't close enough for anything server, but you still needed to take some medicine to combat the possibility of anything happening. You also had pain meds for your leg and you had to use crutches to get around now. Yup, life was "great". Yea, who were you kidding, life's always sucked but this was worse. You obviously needed a source to get home since you couldn't really walk the whole way, so you decided on seeing if Ruv would help you since he was closest. Well, maybe that wasn't a good idea. You forgot to add in the fact that he is overprotective af. He literally won't let you walk on your own anywhere. Well... you can't hop anywhere, even with your crutches. You were trying to make your way out of the building when he picked you up and carried you to his house. It was strange how strong he was. He carried Selever, Rasazy, and Sarv once and still managed to walk around just fine. He wasn't even wobbling. Now he's made sure you stay in the spare room bed. If he catches you up, he'll pick you up and bring you right back to the bed, then just stay in the room and watch your every move until you fall asleep. That's when he decides to respect your privacy and leave you be.

Back to present time

You looked out the window as you continued twisting and twirling your hair. You couldn't even put in words how bored you were. You wanted to go outside or literally just go sit near a window but NoOoo. You couldn't move anywhere. You grabbed your phone and checked the time. 3:40pm. So much longer until Ruv's shift or whatever was done. He apparently had to go work with Ruv at the church for a few hours. He should've said he was busy in all honesty. I mean, you literally had a broken leg. You barely survived an explosion that was a few yards behind you. He should be helping you with emotional support for that trauma, but Sarv was pretty scary. I mean, technically Ruv wasn't their either so you could technically walk around. Not too far of course, but far enough. Plus, if he were to find out, he would have too come home so... it was a win-win on your end. You threw your legs over to the side of the bed and grabbed your crutches, which weren't too far from where you were. You stood up with them and caught your balance pretty fast. You could tell it was gonna hurt your arms and stuff but whatever. You've gotta stretch anyway. You carefully made your way over to your window and sat down right on the ledge. You watched as all the birds flew by and the wind hit the tree's, making the leaves and branches blow slightly. It was calming. You sat their for a good minute before you saw Ruv almost home. You grabbed your crutches and made your way back over to your bed. You made it just in time. He'll never know. "Y/N, I'm back!" He shouted. You smiled and grabbed your phone, hoping on instagram. "How was work?" You called back. "It was... something. He said, walking in the room and checking on you. "What're you doing?" "Looking through instagram." He hummed and sat on the bed next to you. "So you got up, huh?" He said. You instantly turned to him. "What?! How did you-" "Y/N, you and I both know I'm not dumb. I can tell when you're lying." He said, grabbing his phone and scrolling through something. "And that's why it's so hard to buy you anything for your birthday." You responded, putting your phone back down and staring out the window. You chuckled at your comment but turned to you concerned. "You alright?" He asked. You didn't respond. You had another topic on your mind. The building that collapsed, how many people exactly were in it? Usually like 200 plus, it was a common business building. Why did the person blow it up in the first place? And how did you nearly die from it? It was just now occurring to you the potential danger you were put into just by walking home. Now your leg was broken and others were dead. "Hello, Y/N! I know you're in their somewhere." You awoke to see Ruv waving his hand in front of your face. You just shook your head and apologized. "I'm sorry, this whole situation is just really stressful." "It's k. Plus, you broke your leg and I immediately had to go help Sarv with the church. Not too caring of me, huh?" He said. You chuckled, mainly at his famous 'it's k', and turned back to the window. "Nah, plus I handled myself pretty well, I think." Their was silence before you decided you were tired somehow. Probably your medicine kicking in. You buried your face into Ruv's chest and cuddled close to him. He seemed stiff at first but loosened up a bit. "Um, Y/N... what are you doing?" He asked. You tiredly mumbled, "I wanna cuddle." He sighed and ran his fingers through your hair. "Are you sure it won't hurt your leg or anything?" "If you somehow manage to hurt my leg through this huge thing then Ima congratulate you" You joked as he pulled you closer to him and continued playing with your hair. You two stayed like that for a while until you fell asleep. Once he heard you silent snores, he chuckled, "Heh, looks like the medicine's working I guess." He then laid your head on the pillow and attempted to get up when you pulled him back down. "Huh?" He questioned, looking back down. You were still sleeping but you didn't look like you wanted to let go anytime soon. He knew if he wanted too he could push you off and walk away but... "God, why are you so cute?" He mumbled sitting back down and going back on his phone. "You're lucky I love you."
