3rd PERSON POV:

Muffled talking was all the girl could hear. Everything that was being said was going through one ear and out the other.

There wasn't anything particular going through her head. She just put herself in her head, but that was stopped when she felt someone slightly tap her.

She subconsciously looked to her side at Jay after feeling the tap. But she saw that he had been looking somewhere else and she turned and that was when she saw everyone at the table had their eyes on her.

"I-I'm sorry may you repeat that?" Y/N asked with an awkward smile

"Of course dear"

"I was just asking how school went for you after you returned from the trip," Beomgyu's mother asked her question again

Y/N's parents decided to hold a dinner since Beomgyu and his mother had been in the area and of course, her parents didn't want to waste the opportunity.

They invited Jay's family to the dinner as well. So that it could be her family and Jay's family welcoming dinner for Beomgyu and his mother.

"Ah I was able to catch up with the things I missed fairly quickly" Y/N responded and Beomgyu's mother smiled

"I'm glad to hear"

"Oh, I almost forgot to ask, how are you and your lover doing?" Beomgyu's mother suddenly asked as Y/N was taking a sip from her drink

The drink had got caught in her throat and she started to lightly cough after hearing the question.

She could feel that everyone at the table had their eyes on her as they all waited for her response.

"W-what?" Y/N continued to cough, she didn't know where Beomgyu's mother had gotten that information

"Don't you remember? Your parents told me and Beomgyu that you have a lover when you guys had been staying over"

Y/N looked at Beomgyu's mom trying to remember that time, and finally, after some time, she remembers what moment she had been talking about.

Y/N cleared her throat before trying to think of some logical answer.

"They are doing well. It's perfect timing if you would like to meet him, he's actually he-" Y/N's mother started but was soon cut off

"So Beomgyu how are you enjoying it here so far?" Jay suddenly asked the male who had been sitting on the right of Y/N

"H-Huh? Oh yeah! I'm enjoying it quite well, thank you for asking!" Beomgyu quickly picked up what Jay had been trying to do

Y/N let out a relieved sigh as she was thankful that they had jumped in and stopped her parents from saying anything that wasn't true.

"Oh has it Beomgyu?" His mother asked to hope that her son was enjoying his time there

Beomgyu nodded to his mother with a smile.

"Of course, I've been making Y/N show me around the area since it seems that she doesn't enjoy going out that much" Beomgyu chuckled

As two sets of parents heard this, they slightly nodded their heads at his statement, not quite sure if they had been okay with how close Y/N and Beomgyu had been.

"Well isn't that ironic to hear" Her mother suddenly commented and all eyes shifted to her

"Y/N seems to always enjoy getting up and going out with some people no matter what"

"Especially, when it's some people that she knows she shouldn't be with"

"Isn't that right Y/N?" Her mother looked up to the said girl without any expression on her face
