3rd PERSON POV:

"What are we going to do here Jake?"
Y/N asked as she and Jake continued to go up the upstairs of the building

The reason why they had been going up the stairs all happened because Jake had texted Y/N earlier that morning about if she had wanted to hang out. However, he didn't get a response until the afternoon as Y/N slept in since she had been tired from the previous day.

When Y/N woke up and saw the message, she couldn't help but agree to the hang-out even though she still had been tired.

Why Y/N had been tired was for two reasons, one being because she had the date with Sunghoon the previous day but the second reason being that she had stayed up late the night of her and Sunghoon's date, as she thought about what had happened that day but mainly what Sunghoon had said to her.

She couldn't get it out of her head that night and even when she woke up, that was one of the first things she thought of.

"Earth to Y/N?" She looked up slightly to see Jake looking at her

"Yeah? Sorry I was zoning out"

"Haha yeah I noticed, I just wanted to say that we are here" Y/N looked around at their surroundings and saw that they had been at the very last step of the staircase as there had been a door in front of Jake

"The rooftop?" Y/N guessed and Jake smiled

"Correct!"

"What are we doing here on the rooftop?" Y/N questioned and that was the cue for Jake to open the door and let Y/N see for herself

When Y/N saw the outside shock waved over her. She stared outside with wide eyes as she slowly walked onto the rooftop while Jake walked in after her.

The sun had already setting as there was a light pink and orange sky. And in the middle of the rooftop, it could be seen that it had been decorated with beautiful fairy lights as there seemed to be a blanket with a picnic basket placed in the middle of it.

Y/N was in awe and she turned around to face Jake, as he smiled brightly at her.

"Welcome" He introduced and Y/N chuckled

"When did you plan to do this?" Y/N asked

"I've been planning it for a while, but I guess you can say when I texted you this morning it was when I truly started to work on it"

"It's beautiful Jake"

"You like it?"

"Of course, I love it" Y/N muttered and she could see Jake let out a breath he didn't know he was holding with his hand on his chest

"I was worried that you might not like it" Jake nervously chuckled

"It's perfect Jake" Y/N smiled and Jake felt that same flutter in his chest happen once again

"I'm glad! But if it's okay with you, will you allow me to change this hangout into a date for us?" Jake asked and Y/N tried to suppress a smile

"It's completely fine with me," Y/N told and Jake nodded his head before walking in front of Y/N and putting his arms up to show the picnic

"I introduced you to our date setting then, a picnic with the sunset and surprise towards the end," Jake said and Y/N tilted her head when she heard surprise

Jake noticed this and spoke to make her question even more.

"It's a surprise for a reason" Y/N shook her head slightly before walking toward the picnic
