3rd PERSON POV:

Y/N doesn't recall what happened after Sunghoon's sudden confession to her, her mind became too hazy.

All she remembered is that one moment she was staring at the smiling Park Sunghoon, and then the next moment she was already getting dragged out of the park by him.

"You said, you have to go grocery shopping right? Well, what are we waiting for?" Sunghoon chuckled, as he couldn't deny that he had felt relieved he was finally able to get his confess off his chest

Sunghoon knew he hadn't been the best when it came to expressing his emotions in words or actions.

But, when it came to Y/N, he feels all of those troubles away as he is always able to speak from his heart and speak his mind.

And that had just been for Y/N and Y/N only.

While, Y/N on the other hand was still trying to register what had just happened between her and Sunghoon.

'Did Sunghoon just confess to me..?'

'I must be going insane...'

"Hey Y/N, you okay?"

"Wait... Are you thinking about my confession?" Y/N eyes widened in shock and when she was going to lie and deny his assumption, but he was already chuckling

"If you want to hear it again, you could have just said so. I'll be more than glad to repeat it as many times as you want" Sunghoon smiled before he stopped walking and turned to face Y/N

Y/N surprised by what Sunghoon had said, she was going to tell him to knock it out and that she didn't need to hear it again. But he suddenly placed his hands onto her shoulders and looked at her dead in the eyes.

"I like you Y/N"

"And you're the only person I like"

'This can't be good...' Y/N thought as she felt her heart pound against her chest

She assumed that it must be because of Sunghoon's confession only caught her off guard and nothing else.

The two were finally able to make it to the grocery store, they entered by each others side.

"I'm going to get a cart, wait here," Y/N told and when she grabbed the cart, she was going to turn around to head back to Sunghoon but to her surprise, Sunghoon was already behind her

"What?" Y/N questioned but Sunghoon simply smiled at her

"I just wanted to be with you" Y/N swallowed the sudden lump that formed before rolling her eyes at him

"Whatever, let's get going. It's getting late" Y/N pushed the cart, not sparing another glance towards Sunghoon

"Wait, don't leave me behind," Sunghoon said as he went to follow behind Y/N

And when he caught up to her, he placed his hand onto her hand. Y/N looked towards Sunghoon, questioning what he had been doing.

Sunghoon had just simply ignored Y/N's questioning gaze and guided the cart into the closest aisle, not removing his hand off of Y/N's.

However, Sunghoon to let out a smile when he noticed Y/N didn't try to move her hand away or move his hand away.

She kept her hand where it had been and continued to let Sunghoon rest his hand on her's as she looked through the aisle they had been in, to see if she needed anything from there.

'Small steps Sunghoon. Small steps' Sunghoon then took a glance at Y/N, before he let out a towards her while she gave a simple smile back at him
