*A/N: If y'all are confused about Brooke's powers she has telepathy, super hearing and telekinesis which only works when she's mad or sad but she will learn how to control them. (not in this season) I'll also be informing y'all if I decided to add more to her.

Also go check out chapter 9 at the end when Brooke was talking to barb I added a big part that'll came lead us to season 3.*

Brooke's POV:

"I just... I can't believe she didn't come back." Mike said pacing in his basement
"She's gotta be close." Dustin reassured
"She said it wasn't safe. She just messed up the compasses because she wanted to protect us. She didn't betray us." Mike stated "Mike, calm down." I tell him. "I shouldn't have yelled at her. I never should've done that." He said to himself "Mike, this isn't your fault." Dustin said
"Yeah, it's Lucas'." Mike said confidently
"It wasn't his fault, either." I said making him turn around towards me "It wasn't his fault?"
"No." Me and Dustin replied "So you're saying he wasn't way out of line?" He questioned
"Totally, but so were you!" Dustin answered
"What?" "And so was Eleven." I added "Oh, give me a break!"
"No, Mike, you give us a break! All three of you were being a bunch of little assholes! We were the only reasonable one. But the bottom line is... you pushed first. And you know the rule. You draw first blood..." Dustin rambled to which I had no idea what he was talking about but it seemed that mike knew exactly what he meant "No! No way! I'm not shaking his hand."
"You're shaking his hand!" Dustin ordered
"No, I'm not." Mike refused "This isn't a discussion. This is the rule of law. Obey or be banished from the party. Do you wanna be banished?" Dustin asked "No." mike mumbled
"Good." Dustin grabbed his jacket and pasted me mine which I caught and put it on tho I didn't know why.
"Where are we going?" Mike asked for both me and himself "Where do you think? We're going to get Lucas. And then we're gonna find Eleven." Dustin said as he throws a bag at Mike.

*time skip*

Dustin rings the doorbell and a few seconds later Lucas opens the door and asks bluntly "What do you want?" Mike stayed quiet which led Dustin to hitting him in the chest to talk "I drew first blood, so..." he held his hand out but instead of shaking it lucas opens his door wider and and led us up to His living room
"Okay, I'll shake. On one condition. We forget the weirdo and go straight to the gate." Lucas stoped pacing "Then the deal's off." Mike said "Fine!" "Fine!" Mike and Lucas shouted to each other "No, no, not fine! Guys, seriously? Do you even remember what happened on the Bloodstone Pass? We couldn't agree on what path to take, so we split up the party and those trolls took us out one by one. And it all went to shit. And we were all disabled! So we stick together, no matter what!" Dustin stated
"Yeah, I agree. But this is the party, right here in this room." He says but then glances at me and said rudely "and Brooke isn't even in the party why is she even here?!" "El is one of us now." Mike said completely ignoring his last words "Um, no, she's not. Not even close! Never will be. She's a liar, a traitor-" Lucas started "She was just trying to keep us safe! She didn't mean to hurt you. It was an accident!" Mike reasoned "An accident?" Lucas looks us like if we're crazy "All right, accident or not... admit it, it was a little awesome." Dustin shrugged and I nodded in agreement "Awesome?" Lucas asks "Yeah, she threw you in the air with her mind!" I said amazed "I could have been killed!" Lucas shouted"Which is exactly why we need her. She's a weapon! Do you seriously wanna fight the Demogorgon with your wrist rocket? That's like R2-D2 going to fight Darth Vader. We're no use to Will if we're dead." Mike urged "If you two wanna waste your time looking for a traitor, go ahead, 'cause I'm not spending my time on her anymore. No way! I'm going to the gate. I'm gonna find Will." Lucas said pushing us out of the way.

We all left lucas' place and now we're gonna go look for eleven out in the woods, we are certainly biking there all together without lucas
"This is weird without Lucas." Dustin said "He should've shaken my hand." Mike replied
"He's just jealous." Dustin smugly said
"What are you talking about?" Mike asked
"Sometimes, your total obliviousness just blows my mind. He's your best friend, right?" Dustin asked him to which I have no idea where he's going with it. "Yeah... I mean, I don't know." Mike said quietly "It's fine. I get it. I didn't get here until the fourth grade. He had the advantage of living next door. But none of that matters. What matters is that he is your best friend. And then this girl shows up and starts living in your basement, and all you ever want to do is pay attention to her." Dustin reasoned as I nodded in agreement
"That's not true." Mike shook his head
"Yes, it is. And you know it. And he knows it. Man even Brooke knows it. But no one ever says anything until you both start punching and yelling at each other like goblins with intelligence scores of zero. Now everything's weird." Dustin told him "He's not my best friend." Mike said "Yeah, right." Dustin said while rolling his eyes "I mean, he is, but so are you. And so is Will." Mike says completely ignoring my existence again "Can't have more than one best friend." Dustin stated "Says who?" Mike challenged "Says logic." Dustin says like it's the most obvious thing in the world "Well, I call bull on your logic, because you're my best friend, too." Mike insisted "Okay." Dustin mumbled sheepishly. We get to Bradleys and see the broken glass around the doors
"Whoa." Mike breathed out "You don't think..." Dustin questioned "Uh... definitely."

*time skip*

"El!" We were now in the woods searching for eleven hoping she'll come back to us "Eleven! Eleven! El!" "El! Eleven!"
"Hey, stop. Do you hear that?" Mike said after a while "What?"
"El! El?" Mike shouts hoping it was her who he heard. But instead Troy and James appear and come closer to the us "Hey, there, Frogface.Princess.Toothless." He said and then He shows his knife in his hand. Dustin drops his bike and yells "Shit! Run, Brooke, Mike!" "What?" Mike asks dumbfounded "Run! Come on!" I say grabbing his arm to make him follow me "You're dead, Wheeler." Troy angrily shouts "Move, Mike! Mike, come on, run!"Troy and James start chasing us.
We all keep running and panting while we got to the top of the quarry When suddenly Dustin groans and yells "Cramp!" "Just keep going! Keep going!" Mike encourages him. Troy starts catching up to Dustin and while i kept running I noticed James appeared coming from the other direction "Shit!" We all stop, scared. Mike picks up a rock, Dustin picks up a stick, and I pick up two big pokey sticks "Stay back! Don't come any closer!" Mike badly threatened
Mike throws the rock at James and missing by a long shot causing James to scoff "Nice throw, numbnuts."
Dustin then tries to  hit Troy with the stick, while yelling but Troy grabs him by the neck and puts him in a head lock and aims the knife at his throat "Get off! Get off me!" Dustin demanded "Let him go! Let him go!" Me and mike plead "Stay back, or I cut him!" Troy threats "What do you want?" Mike asks in hopes he'll let go of him "I want to know how you did it!" Troy tells him "How he did what?" I asks trying his best to ignore Dustin whimpering "I know you did something to me. Some nerdy science shit to make me do that." Troy said "You mean piss your pants?" Mike answered making Troy give him a death stare. "Our friend has superpowers, and she squeezed your tiny bladder with her mind." Dustin answered truthfully but of course Troy didn't believe him "Shut up! I think I should save Toothless here a trip to the dentist. Help him lose the rest of his baby teeth." "Let him go. Let him go!" I plead "I'll let him go, sure. But first... it's his turn." Troy gestures to mike
"My turn for what?" He asks "Wet yourself." He Troy answered "What?" Mike asks
"Jump... or Toothless here gets an early trip to the dentist." Troy motions to the edge of the quarry "Stop! No!" Dustin pleads not wanting him to jump "I'll cut him right now!" Troy threatens as Dustin whimpering cause Troy aimed the knife closer to his mouth
"All right, just hold on! Hold on!" Mike shout getting closer to the edge. I was gonna throw both my sticks at troys head but two hands caught my wrists stopping me I look to see James looking a bit guilty but he does it any way
"Mike, don't do it. I don't need my baby teeth, Mike! Mike, seriously, don't!" Dustin whimpered  out But Mike didn't listen and walks over to the edge and looks at the water below while I'm still trying to get out of James's grip
"Mike, don't do it! Seriously, don't do it, man! Seriously, don't!" Dustin cry's out
"Troy, I don't think this is a good idea, man." James mumbled making Troy glare at him marking him shut up in an Instant.
Mike now at the edge stands on the tip of it making some rock crumbles go down to the water "Mike, don't!" Dustin pleads
"Dentist's office opens in five... Four! Three! Two!"
"Mike!" I shout

"One!"

Mike jumps causing Troy and James to let go of Dustin and I in shock. We all run to the edge and Dustin muttered in disbelief "Holy shit."
Mike was floating while gasping, floating for his life as he suddenly rises up back to safety
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" He yelled  in shock he grunts as he lands on the rocks
We look over as we hear rustling and see an angry Eleven walking over, she sends James flying backwards as she gets closer and suddenly one of Troy's bones cracks after Eleven tilts her head making him drop his knife as he screamed in pain. "She broke my arm! My arm!" "Go." Eleven ordered "Let's get out of here! Let's go!" Troy says to James "Go!" James says as they run off. "Yeah, that's right! You better run! She's our friend and she's crazy! You come back here and she'll kill you! You hear me? She'll kill you, you sons of bitches! She'll kill you, you hear me?" Dustin threats them as they keep running.
We hear a thud and see eleven on the ground "El, are you okay? El?" Mike said running towards her "Mike... I'm sorry." Eleven forgives
"Sorry? What are you sorry for?" Mike chuckles "The gate... I opened it. I'm the monster." Eleven says repeating lucas' words
"No. No, El, you're not the monster. You saved me. Do you understand? You saved me." Mike shakes his head as he pulls Eleven into a hug and soon Dustin joins the hug while I just stand there trying to process what the hell just happened right before my eyes.

We walk home, passing a Hawkins Power van and I hear someone saying "I have eyes on 'em now. They're heading home." I look around to see where it came from locking eyes with the guy inside of the van as he looks at me with wide eyes but I shake it off not wanting to look at him anymore sense he gave me the creeps.
