A moment of stunned silence filled the room.

Only the beep of the phone was heard as the line went dead.

Multiple people seated in the room spent a few more seconds of silence after hearing what was needed to be said on Yosano's phone.

A cryptic message from Yukiko, asking for their help with the traitor from her school.

"Other than the case Ranpo-san warned us about." Started Kunikida, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "We each have individual cases to solve and paperwork to do."

"Adding onto Yukiko's call, asking us to help her catch the mole from her school."

"Yuki-chan may be basically part of our family." Spoke Ranpo "But she isn't part of the agency."

"We aren't obligated to help her because of that." Kenji noted, a sad look on his face.

"We mustn't mix personal feelings with that of work." Said Kunikida, a grim look was plastered on his face.

"She isn't part of the agency— officially, at least." He added.

"We have no business  with whatever's happening in Tokyo or in Jujutsu Tech. "

Everyone present simultaneously turned to look at the man who had the most power out of everyone in the Agency.

"It's your call, President."

Just as usual, Fukuzawa Yukichi wore a serious look on his face, though this time he seems to be contemplating the agency's next step.

Everyone anticipated his response.

"Yukiko is not an official member of the agency," Fukuzawa began. "As far as we are concerned, whatever business she has with Jujutsu Technical College is something we cannot legally take on since she hasn't submitted it as an official case to the agency." He continued. "She holds Dazai's badge but she isn't an official agent. We can't extend our hand to help one that's not reaching out to us."

"With that being said... Kunikida," the older man turned to the blond who perked up at the call of his name. "Schedule Yukiko's entrance exam after we're done with all the major cases."

"Yes Sir." The bespectacled man responded writing feverishly on his notebook. "The earliest we can uphold Yukiko's entrance exam is on... October 31st and the latest at November 7th."

"Atsushi and Kyouka." Fukuzawa's attention went from Kunikida towards the two. "Both of you will facilitate the exam."

"Understood!" They chorused.

"Ranpo, can you confirm Kokichi Muta's location based on the information Yukiko sent us days prior?" He turned to the raven haired male.

The detective grinned. "Anything for my greatest niece."

From his pocket Ranpo grasped his glasses— and old pair for square framed glasses, given to him by the president himself— swiftly putting it on and doing what he does best.

Being the greatest.

"I see." He muttered opening his eyes to reveal a hue of breathtaking emerald green. He brought his finger onto the map that was placed conveniently behind him.

"Kokichi Muta's location is... here."

It was as if the run down old shack near the port wasn't enough to prove his suffering.
