Hugs Are My Lifeline

Although I've already done a chapter like this in this book I wanted to do it again since I like the idea. If you want to read the oneshot that also has this plot then go to the chapter "Clingy By Nature (Smajor)". 

Also there are no ships in this chapter, except for Lauren and Bobby but that's self explanatory. Anyway have fun reading this :D

Lauren's POV:

To say that me and Bobby were bored would be the understatement of the year, we hadn't done much over the past couple of days. An idea popped into my head so I picked my phone up from the couch.

I opened it and went into my messages, I clicked on one of my group chats and smiled.

'Normal' People

Lauren: Hello friends.

Scotty and Joel are Online

Scotty: Hello Lauren

Joel: hallo

Lauren: So me and Bobby are bored soooo you guys wanna come over?

Oli is Online

Oli: Hello, also I'm up for that

Joel: yeah sure i'm down

Scotty: Sounds cool, I'll be there shortly! <3

Joey is Online

Joey: can't forget about me, i'll be there soon! :)

Joel: Lizzy's also coming, we'll be there in a bit

Lauren: Cool, cya guys soon!

Scotty: Baiii

I laughed as I closed my phone, "Bobby! The gang is coming over here soon!" I shouted to Bobby, "Alright!" he called back. I got up and went to get some snacks and stuff ready for when our friends arrived, I was guessing that either Scott or Joey would arrive first.

After about 20 minutes I heard someone ring the doorbell, I got up from my seat on the couch and walked to the door. The moment I opened the door, I felt someone wrap their arms around me and pulled me into a hug.

I looked up at the hugger and realised it was Scott, I laughed as he pulled away from the sudden embrace and walked inside. I shut the door before walking into the living room, Scott followed close behind after he'd taken his shoes off.

I settled down on one of the couches next to Bobby, Scott practically collapsed onto the couch that was near the fireplace. Bobby laughed.

"You alright there Scott?" he asked, Scott shifted slightly, "I'm great." came a muffled reply, his face was buried in one of the cushions. Dexter seemed to take Scott's position as an invite to cuddle since he jumped up onto the couch and curled up against him.

Scott put an arm around Dexter and rested his head against his fur, I giggled at his reaction. "He seems tired." Bobby said, I looked back over to Scott before nodding.

Bobby's POV:

I heard someone knocking at the door while I was talking to Lauren, I got up and went to the door. I opened it and saw Joey, Joel and Lizzy, I let them inside and shut the door behind them.

"Lauren and Scott are in the living room, I'm going to grab us some snacks." I told them as I headed into the kitchen. It didn't take long to grab some of the snacks so I went back into the living room.
