Chapter Thirty Five

I walked into the room that I wanted to go into the moment I came back to my old house.

The room that doesn't seem like it should still be here but it was.

My old room.

When I walked in, everything looked the same. It had the same bed in the same place where it's been ever since I left. It had pictures on the walls where nobody has touched not one.

The dresser, mirror and nightstand was still in the same place as it was before.

It was if nobody has walked in here ever since I left.

Looking around, it felt weird being back here. I felt like an intruder as I stepped foot inside this house but didn't know that I was even coming here to begin with.

I walked to the dresser before looking at it, noticing that nothing was on top of it. The mirror attached to it was in view as I looked at myself for a moment before opening the drawers of the dresser.

When I opened the top drawer, I saw some pictures and took them out before looking at them. They were old pictures of me and I slightly smiled at them as I thought about how crazy it was now cause that girl doesn't exist anymore.

I held one up and looked at it before placing it down and looking through more of them. I didn't realize I had so many pictures of myself and noticed that I took a lot.

I kept going through them before coming to one with my mom. I saw how it was a happy moment, which was rare but it happened some times.
