It was going great.

Luna and I had been dating for months now, thankfully I've been able to hide it from her though.

I didn't think she would hate me or anything but with the things happening lately, it wouldn't be outrageous for her to be frightended.

That thought though, was enough to keep me from saying anything or even coming close to telling her.

I personally didn't think it was a huge deal, sadly though many others didn't feel that way.

I've seen it happen before, years ealier when Harry was revealed as one as well... Lets just say that it didn't go well for him for a while.

That was over now though so it shouldn't be to bad... right?

I shook my head and let out a breath, I would have to tell her at some point.

I walked up to the Ravenclaw dorms and knocked on her door.

She made us both a secret pattern for the knock, I'm not quite sure why but she said it would be fun. That's one of the things I love most about her, her random but amazing ideas.

Like the other day when she took me to see the magical animals we had around the school.

Let me tell you, that was an expirience for sure, they were beutiful.

I also didn't know that we had so many, I thought at most it'd be one or two but really there were many smaller ones that I hadn't even known existed until that day.

She opened the door with a smile on her face, as always, and it enticed my own smile but it didn't stop from my mind screaming at me just to tell her.

I tried to to push the voices down the best I could.

"Is something wrong, Y/N?" she asked, he light voice was like music to my ears.

I shook my head slowly, if she saw my hesitance to answer then she didn't comment on it but her eyes did narrow ever so slightly.

"Okay... are you ready for lunch?"

I nodded and took her hand before pulling her door shut and walking her out of the dorms and Ravenclaw area.

We ate lunch together everday with her friends, it wasn't as easy to do it at my house's tables, for obvious reasons.

They weren't very fond of me dating a Ravenclaw, when they told me I literally laughed in their faces. Boy did they hate that.

Lets just say, they don't talk to me much anymore.

I sat next to her and we both got our food, she was immersed in a conversation with a friend of hers.

Me on the other hand, I was sat pushing my food around on the plate, if I told her now, would she be mad?

Surely not, right? She was a very kin and understanding person but that didn't seem to calm my thoughts.

"Y/N"

Would she leave me?

"Y/N?"

Would she tell everyone?

"Y/N!"

My eyes shot over to her as I heard my name.

"Are you sure everythings okay?"

"Of course, why wouldn't it be?" I tried my best to play it off.

"Other than the fact that I had to call you name three time to finally get your attention?"

Okay she got me there.

"Sorry, my mind was on other things"

She archer her brow "What other things?"

"Oh you know, just stuff..."

Really good, Y/N. Stuff, that'll tell her. I never had been the best with lying. It didn't help a whole lot that she knew how to tell my lies apart from truth.

"I'll let ti go for now but I'm talking to you later" she said and began to stand to go off with her friends for the day.

I nodded though I knew it wasn't really a choice.

I began to walk back to my dorm, maybe Tango would know what to say.

Ph, right, so Tango is my pet snake.

I found him when I went for a walk one day.

When I walked in he immediately slitherd out from under the bed.

"You were gone for an awful long time" he hissed out.

I nodded "I was with Luna, I feel like I should tell her about this"

"This?"

"Yes. Tango, I'm not sure if you know, but usually humans can't talk to snakes, actually its usually a bad sign as far as I know"

The way he was looking at me, I just knew if snakes could shrug then thats exactly what he would be doing right now.

"Doesn't seem like a problem to me"

"Of course it doesn't to you, your the snake in question that I am somehow able to talk to. Gosh darn Parslemouth." I grumbled out.

"I think you worry to much. Just tell her."

"Yes because its just that sim-"

"Y/N? Are you talking to a snake right now?"

I whipped around when I heard her voice.

Luna stood looking from me to the snake and then back to me with wide eyes.

"Looks like she knows"

"I know that, Tango!"

"Just making sure"

"I don't-"

"Y/N?"

"Yes, I am talking to a snake, his name is Tango."

I waited with an almost wince on my face as I stayed quiet.

Ready for her to yell or get angry and hit me for not telling her, maybe scream or something, but I heard nothing.

I risked a glance over to her but stopped when I saw the bright smile.

"Is this what you were so worried about all day?"

I sheepishly nodded my head.

She laughed a bit and reached up to plant a gentle kiss to my cheek.

"I would never be mad about something like this, you can talk to me about anything, okay?"

I nodded with a small smile on my face.

"Told ya"

I sighed and looked back to him shaking my head.

"What'd he say?"

"He said 'Told ya'"

She laughed loudly at this, "I think I like you Tango, can I talk with you today?"

I translated to him and he agreed.

This would be a fun evening, talking to a snake with my girlfriend, never thought I'd be doing this when I woke on this fine day.
