~ Annie's POV👼🏼~
Asher was carrying me down the hall. I kept screaming, but nobody heard me.

He led me to an empty classroom. He put me down on the front desk and closed the door behind us. Which made it extra dark and cold in the room.
Annie:Why did you do that? I need to get back to my human
I got up and walked to the door, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
Asher:I told you, Julianna. Your...time...is...up
He had an evil, dark look in his eyes. This wasn't the Asher I knew. What happened?
Annie:Asher, tell me what is going on? Why are you acting like this?
Asher:Acting like what?
I crossed my arms over my chest.
Annie:You're not the Asher that I know. My Asher would never lock me up.
Asher:Well, maybe I've changed.
He stepped closer to me.
Asher:You know, I've been thinking lately. And maybe we should get married soon
Annie:Soon? Asher, I don't think-
Asher:Come on, Julianna
He put his hands on my waist and brought me closer to him.
Asher:Why should we wait?
He smirked at me evilly, giving me a chill down my back.

~Kenzie's POV🌹~
I was sitting at our table checking my phone for a possible text from Annie. But there was nothing. Where could she have gone?
John then came over and held out his hand to me.
I looked at him confused, but took it. He led me to the dance floor. He put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
The music was playing a slow song and we just looked into each other's eyes.
I cannot believe this is happening right now.
Kenzie:I'm sorry I haven't been hanging out a lot with you tonight. I just need to make sure that Annie is okay.
Johnny:Why? Can't she handle herself?
Kenzie:Um...I mean this is her first school dance. I just want to watch out for her. After what happened at that party
Johnny:Right
Kenzie:Yeah
We danced in silence. Obviously he may have been annoyed that we weren't spending time together. At a dance we are at together. But I need to check on Annie. He just cannot know the real reason.
Kenzie:I know you're annoyed with me. I get it
He nodded slowly.
Kenzie:Be mad at me all you want. I don't blame you
Johnny:I'm not mad, Kenz. Just a little frustrated
Kenzie:I know, and I'm sorry
Johnny:It's okay
Kenzie:You sure?
Johnny:Yeah
He smiled at me and I leaned in and placed my lips on his.
I pulled away and he smirked at me.
Johnny:I wasn't expecting that. Especially here. In a public place...where my own sister could have seen us
I let out a small laugh.
Kenzie:Well, I have to let everyone know that you're mine and mine only
He smirked again and leaned closer to me.
Johnny:I love you, Kenz
I smiled at him. Did he actually just say that?
Kenzie:I love you, John
He placed his lips on mine and I smiled into it. We said it. And I meant it.
The songs ended and John and I went back to our table.
That's when Hayden came over.
Johnny:Hey, bud
Kenzie:Hey, Hayden
Hayden:Hi guys, um...have either one of you seen Annie? She kinda just disappeared
Kenzie:Disappeared?
Hayden:Yeah, she was getting a drink. But then I didn't see her come back to our table. Have you seen her?
Johnny:No we haven't
Kenzie:Maybe I should go look for her again
I got up and John just gave me a "really?" Look
Kenzie:I'm sorry
I leaned down and kissed his cheek.
Hayden:Maybe I should come too
Kenzie:Oh, okay
We headed out in the halls.

~Annie's POV👼🏼~
He leaned closer to me. Cornering me against the wall.
Annie:I mean, we should wait because we're only kids. Asher
Asher:But the thing is. I don't want to wait. I want to be with you now. And forever.
He put his lips on mine, and I quickly pulled away.
Asher:What are you doing?
Annie:Asher. I can't be with you
He let go of me and backed away
Asher:Why not?
Annie:It doesn't feel right anymore. I can't be with someone like you
Asher:Seriously? Why can't you be with me?
Annie:Um...
Asher:Did you meet someone?
I stayed silent. I can't tell him about my relationship with Hayden.
Asher:Who is he?
Annie:I'm not saying
He scoffed
Asher:Julianna, we have to sign a contract. We would be letting Wishful View down. What about our family's legacies? We have to get married
Annie:Asher, I can't marry you. I'm sorry
