~Annie's POV👼🏼~

Hayley:Come on Annie! You are a great angel!
I roll my eyes at her
Hayley and I were in my room discussing how excited she is to become an official angel in 2 years
Annie:Oh am I?! The last human I helped didn't like me
Hayley:You must have helped them with something
Annie:Well, I did help them find someone
Hayley:Did they like that person?
Annie:N-no...but they had somewhat similar qualities
She sighs.
I know I'm a terrible angel. She has to just see that too
Hayley:Annie listen. I've been studying "The Angel Rule Book" for the longest time, and you just need to focus on what they want or need. Not what you think would be best
I nod slowly. The past humans I have helped always told me what to do or say. I guess I took it the wrong way and didn't want to be told what to do.
Annie:Ok fine. Do you think I could borrow that book?
Hayley shrugs as mom walks in
Katie:Hi girls! Ready for Angel School?
Hayley:Yes! I'm so excited!!
Katie:Good, now lets go
Mom leaves the room then Hayley follows after her.
I get ready for school. I put on a white blouse and a white skirt with white flats.
Everyone in our town Wishful View has to wear white. Since we're angels. It's kind of a law here. Which I don't understand, but I'm okay with it.

I go downstairs and I sit beside Hayley at the table
Katie:Hayley, are you excited?
Hayley:Yes! I'll be learning level 5 angel skills! It will be so much fun!!
Katie:I know, I'm excited for you! And I can't wait till you become an official angel
Hayley:Me neither
That's when Caleb came downstairs
Katie:Morning Caleb. Do you have a human assigned for today?
Caleb:Yep!
He sits beside Hayley and rubs her head
Caleb:They really need my help. This guy is from Australia and needs help proposing to his girlfriend. And we're just discussing different scenarios
Katie:Well, that's great! Julianna, are you excited for level 11?
Annie:Umm...not quite
She jut nods and goes to get the toast from the kitchen counter.
My mom thinks I'm a disgrace to the Angel community.

I am always letting humans down. And everyone thinks I'm a screw-up because of it. I have been a part of the Official Angel Helpers for 5 years, and not a single good outcome.
I'm always getting compared to my older brother's successes. It's just frustrating. I want to make the Angel community proud. I want to make Wishful View proud. Mainly the whole town knows of my failure. I think my Hayley is going to be a better angel than me.

Katie:Ok! Time for Angel School girls! And time for work Caleb
Caleb:Yep
We all walk out the door then fly to school and work.

~Kenzie's POV🌹~

Principal Claire:And I hope you will know that we always want to make a safe learning environment for you children...blah blah blah!
I hate school assembly's. They are always soooo long! Filled with the same lectures and rules you have to follow throughout the school year.
I feel someone tap my shoulder and turn to see Isaak. He leans down and whispered to me
Isaak:Can we be on?
I shrug
Isaak:Please?
I don't know how I could say no to those dark convincing eyes
Kenzie:Sure
He smirks at me and wraps his arms around my neck.
I could see in the corner of my eye that Johnny was looking at us. Weird.

~Annie's POV👼🏼~

Hayley:So, how do you think level 11 is going to play out?
Annie:No idea, I mean I really hope I can get assigned a human and I hope I can make them happy
Hayley:I know you will
Annie:How?
Hayley:Because, all those other times, you got assigned people that weren't around your age. Maybe you'll get assigned someone that is 16?
Annie:Maybe. Thanks HayHay
Hayley:No problem

We fly to Angel School and I get greeted by Jayden, Anna, and Riley. Riley and Anna are going into level 12. While Jayden and I are in level 11
Jayden:Hey Annie!
Annie:Hi Jay!!
I hug Jayden then Anna then Riley
Anna:Ready for Angel School
Annie:Sure. But I really hope I get assigned someone I can connect with
Riley:Why would you want to connect with a human? You just need to help them with stuff. Not be-friend them
She laughs and I stutter not knowing what to say.
Annie:R-right. I knew that...I j-just-
Jayden:Angel School is starting! Let's go to the assembly!

We all pile into a huge auditorium and everyone takes a seat.
What we do at the beginning of each day of Angel School, is look at the ranking board. The ranking board shows a huge list of all the angels then ranks all of them. Unfortunately the end of last year, I was close to the bottom. And everyone was always looking at me weird. Even angels in level 8 were getting a higher ranking than me. And I was in level 10. I don't know how I passed. But it was a miracle.
We go over rankings and get assigned a human. Which I am beyond excited, but nervous, because if I get assigned someone way older or way younger than me, I don't think it will end well.
Ms. Angel: Welcome all to Angel School! I'm so happy to have you all back. Let's get into it!
Ms Angel goes through everyone
Ms Angel: In 3rd, we have Jayden Isabel Kerubiel Bartels
Annie:Woah Jay! How?
Jayden:I don't know. I mean I guess I'm a pretty good angel
Annie:Congrats
Jayden:Thanks
Ms Angel kept going through everyone. With Anna in 23rd and Riley in 45th. She kept naming people. One by one. There is a total amount of 100 angels in Angel School at the moment. And I don't know where I will place.
Ms Angel:And in 99th, we have...
Please be me? Please be me?
Ms.Angel:My niece Pearl Kiraman Angel
Everyone cheers
Ms Angel:And sadly, in 100th, we have Julianna Grace Selaphiel LeBlanc
Great!
Some people cheered and some people scowled at me
Jayden:Don't worry Annie. You'll go back up
Anna:Yeah, you'll get someone good
Annie:Sure

~Kenzie's POV🌹~

It was the end of the school day, and I was so happy. But not because I have to go back to my house after.
I was walking to my locker then when Isaak pulled me aside
Isaak:So, wanna hang tonight?
Kenzie:Sure. What do you want to do?
Isaak:But meet me at the park, and make sure to wear all black
Kenzie:Wait! For wha-
Isaak:Just do it Kenz, okay?!
He snaps at me and I just look at him in shock. What the fuck is wrong with him?
Isaak: I gotta go. See you later
I nod and he leaves then I hear someone behind me
???:What is he up to?
I turn to see Johnny looking at me in concern
Kenzie:I don't know. But it's nothing
Johnny:Kenz, don't go with him
I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow at him
Kenzie:Were you eavesdropping?
He scratches the back of his neck and just looks at me
Kenzie:Why can't I?
Johnny:Becau-
He gets interrupted by Hayden coming over to us
Hayden:John? Let's go. I need to get to basketball practice
Johnny looks at Hayden then back at me
Johnny:See ya later
Kenzie:Yeah...
He walks away with Hayden. That boy is honestly so confusing.

It was 10 at night and I was putting on a black sweater, black leggings and black shoes. Mom was out with her boyfriend on a date and Maddie was at her friends house. So I was golden to go out.
I headed to the park and met up with Isaak who was dressed the same as me. In black.
Kenzie:Hey, what are we doing?
Isaak:Shhh!
Kenzie:What why?! *whispers*
Isaak:Because we're gonna take something that belongs to me
Kenzie:Take something that belongs to you?
Isaak:Yep. See the convenience store?
He points to a small building a across the street that was white and had a huge colourful sign on it.
Kenzie:Yeah and?
Isaak:They ripped me off and stole my money
Kenzie:What how?
Isaak:I was buying something from there and I had to grab something else quickly because I forgot. Then once I came back and payed and stuff. I noticed that 300 bucks was taken out of my debit card!
Kenzie:Oh my god! So what do you wanna do?
Isaak:Take the money back
Kenzie:Wait! So you wanna...steal your money back?
Isaak:Yes
Kenzie:O-ok and you want me to help you?
Isaak:Yes. Ready?
Kenzie:Not re-
Isaak:Great! Let's go
I sigh then follow him through the park and across the street. We sneak through the back alley and approach the back door.
Isaak:Quick Kenz, hand me one of your bobby pins
Kenzie:Ok
I grab one from my hair then hand it to him. He picks at the lock then the door clicks
Isaak:We're in *whispers*
We slowly walk in go up to the cash register. I tried opening it, but there was a key hole on it
Kenzie:It's locked
Isaak:Don't worry. I got it
He reaches into his backpack and pulls out a slim knife
Kenzie:What are you doing?
Isaak:I'm gonna pick this lock. It's different compared to door locks
Kenzie:K-k just be careful
Isaak:I will
He picks at the lock and it made a small click sound. He smirks then puts the knife back in his backpack. He opens it and grabs a bunch of money from the register. That's when a huge alarm rang throughout the store
Isaak:Quick grab the money!!
I grab a bunch then shove it in his backpack. We run out only to be stopped by a bunch of flashlights and bright blue and red lights.
Cop:Freeze!
We both put our hands up and that's when it hit me.
What the fuck did he make me just do?
