~Kenzie's POV🌹~
It was now Saturday, and Annie, Maddie and I had to go back home. Well, Maddie and I's house. I was finishing packing up my stuff, and John walked in. I zipped up my suitcase and walked over to him
Johnny:I'm gonna miss our late night chats
Kenzie:Me too
Johnny:We'll have to continue them soon
Kenzie:I promise we will
He brings me in his arms
Kenzie:Do you think we could still make a song?
Johnny:If that means hearing your beautiful voice, then definitely
I look up at him and he kisses me
We pull apart and I grab my suitcase
Johnny:Here, let me get that
I hand it to him
Kenzie:Thank you
We went downstairs and everybody was by the door. I said bye to Lauren and the rest of the Orlando's and mom was waiting for us outside. We put our suitcases in the car, and she drove us home.
Annie:How was your trip?
Melissa:It was fantastic, thank you Annie
We got home, there were moving trucks, and when we went inside, we saw a man ordering movers to move some furniture in the house.
Maddie:Is Brad moving in?
Melissa:Yes, he is
A man with brown hair and a bit of facial hair comes up to us
Man:Oh, are these your daughters?
Melissa:These two are and this is Annie, Mackenzie's friend
Man:Ohh
Melissa:Girls, this is Brad
Brad smiles at us
Maddie:Hi, I'm Maddie
Kenzie:I'm Kenzie
Melissa:Mackenzie
Kenzie:Mackenzie
I hate it when she does that
Brad:It's so nice to finally meet you girls
Maddie:You too
The three of us go upstairs and unpack our stuff. Except for Annie. I closed the door behind me to my room, and started unpacking my things
Annie:I don't know what i'm going to do
Kenzie:About?
Annie:The decision I have to make
Kenzie:Right, I don't even know what it is, but it seems like a pretty big deal
Annie:It's a huge deal
The door then opened. I turned around and saw a tall teenage boy about our age with blonde hair
Guy:Oh, sorry. I didn't know this was your room
Annie:Hi, it's okay
Kenzie:Yeah
Guy:Um, I'm Austin. Brad's son
Kenzie:Hey, I'm Kenzie. Melissa's daughter
Austin:Looks like we'll be siblings
Kenzie:Looks like it
Austin:Anyways, I'll let you guys continue whatever you were doing.
Kenzie:Yeah, it was nice to meet you, Austin
Austin:You too, Kenzie
He closes the door and Annie turns to me
Annie:I guess you have a brother
Kenzie:I guess so

We were all having dinner together. The movers left, and Brad and Austin are staying in the attic. So, that's why mom needed me to clean the attic
Melissa:Oh, Maddie. Something came for you today
Mom got up and grabbed an envelope then gave it to Maddie. Maddie opened it and screamed
Annie and I covered our ears
Melissa:What is it?
Maddie:I got accepted to the University of London State!
Melissa:I'm so proud of you
Kenzie:Wait, it's in London?
Maddie:Yeah, it starts in February
It was silent for a few seconds
Brad:Well, congratulations, Maddie
Maddie:Thank you

I was chilling in my room with Annie, when mom walked in
Melissa:Mackenzie, can we talk?
Kenzie:Yeah
Annie:I'll just go
Annie closes the door behind her
Melissa:I'm sorry
Kenzie:For?
Melissa:Being hard on you. I know I shouldn't be, but i'm just stressed out and I don't know what to do. I just got laid off a few weeks ago and it just built with the pressure
Kenzie;Oh my god, mom that's terrible
Melissa:I know, and when I met Brad. He was an escape. He understood me and we felt the same way about each other. I know this is all new, I just want you to understand that marrying Brad makes me happy
Kenzie:I understand. I just wish you could have let us meet him before you ran off to Miami and got engaged
Melissa:I know, I wasn't thinking. Do you forgive me?
Kenzie:Yeah
Melissa:Thank you
She pulls me into a hug. Which hasn't happened in a long time

I went downstairs to try and find Annie, but she wasn't there. I then see a bright white light outside. I go outside to the front lawn and see Annie talking with Miss Angel
Kenzie:Are you really going, Annie?
She turns to me
Annie:Well, I have two decisions. But I don't know what to do
Kenzie:What are the options?
Coco:If Miss Julianna chooses to go back to Wishful View, she will be ranked higher on the board and will get assigned a new human
Kenzie:That's amazing, Annie
Annie:Yeah, but...
Coco:But if Miss Julianna chooses to stay here with you, she will lose her angel wings and powers forever
Kenzie:Are you seriously considering becoming a human?
Annie:Kinda
Kenzie:Annie, you have to go back to Wishful View. It's your home
Annie:But I made some pretty amazing friends here, and i'm going to miss you so much
Kenzie:I know, Annie. But you have to go back. I don't want to see you lose your wings. They are beautiful
Annie hugs me
Annie:I'm going to miss you, Kenz
Kenzie:I'm gonna miss you too
She lets me go. I can see tears on her face
Annie:Tell everybody I will see them soon
Kenzie:I will
Annie hugged me one last time, and went into the portal. The portal then vanished and I saw the empty street in front of me. She was gone. And I don't know what i'm going to do without her. The front door opened, and Austin was just looking at me
Austin:What are you doing out here?
Kenzie:I was just...going for a run
Austin:Oh, okay
He closed the door.

~Annie's POV👼🏼~
When I went back, I met up with all my friends at school. I missed them so much.
Jayden:How was your human?
Annie:She is now one of my best friends
Riley laughed at me
Riley:Annie, she can't be your best friend. You're done with her now
Annie:Laugh all you want. I'll definitely see her again
Miss Angel stood at the front of the class.
Coco:Welcome back from your missions. We will now list the top angels
Miss Angel listed so many people. I thought I would be very low. Maybe ranked at 80, but then...
Coco:And at number 15, we have Julianna Grace Selaphiel LeBlanc Angel
Everybody cheers
Coco:Which is the biggest jump i've ever seen in angel school history
Jayden:You did it, Annie
I smiled to myself. I did it. I made angel school history. I wish I could tell Kenzie

~Kenzie's POV🌹~
I walked back inside and to my room. I then remembered something. I walked over to my night stand and found the locket that I found Annie in. I put it around my neck and smiled as I saw it on me through the mirror across my room. I looked inside of it and there was a note. I unwrapped it and read it
Dear, Kenz
I am endlessly happy I was able to get to know you. You are an incredibly beautiful person inside and out. I'm sad our journey is over. If there is one person that I could ever help in this world, it's you. Because you taught me some things too. We were there for each other and I've never had that with anybody I've ever helped. You stood up for me and I am proud to say that you have made me realize I can make my own decisions and make my own future. I will carry your advice with me to my home. I don't usually give notes like these to just anybody. Which makes you a very important person in my life. I promise that I will never forget you, ever. Because you are that important to me. I love you, Kenz. I'll see you soon

I felt tears coming down my cheeks. I still can't believe that she would consider giving up her wings for me. She really is an angel.
