Katherine woke up to her alarm the next morning, alone in her own room, having dream-like memories of Mr. King carrying her in his arms from the couch to her bed. She must have fallen asleep with him in the living room. It was the only explanation.

She took a deep breath and got out of bed knowing she needed to get breakfast started promptly. She dressed in black slacks and a fitted long-sleeved red shirt that dipped down in the front just enough to allow her cleavage to peep out, but still left more than enough up to the imagination. She pinned her hair up into a bun and brushed on minimal makeup before finishing the rest of her daily morning routine.

The apartment was quiet as she headed toward the kitchen. She moved swiftly, gathering everything she needed to make Mr. King breakfast. When the doorbell rang suddenly she nearly jumped out of her skin. Who in the holy hell would be at the door at 7:30 in the morning?

Without another moment passing, Mr. Roberts was coming out of the security office, looking rather alarmed.

"Who is it?" Katherine asked him quietly.

"Not sure, ma'am," he replied, giving her a side-eye as he took long strides toward the door. Her heart began to pound faster. Who could it possibly be?

"Is there something wrong, Roberts?" Katherine heard Mr. King's voice before she saw him.

When she turned her head he was right there in all his glory – well, nearly. He stood next to the breakfast bar, his body damp as he clung to a towel that was wrapped around his waist. Katherine's heart was sure to beat out of her chest from just the sight of him so indisposed - as if she hadn't seen him completely naked on many different occasions. But somehow seeing him like that did something to her that she couldn't explain.

"Not entirely sure, sir," Mr. Roberts replied as he reached the door. Mr. King gave him a nod of his head, giving him the okay to open the door.

"Can I help you?" Mr. Roberts questioned the person after opening the door. The unexpected visitor was still hidden from view, leaving Katherine feeling anxious with anticipation.

"Yeah. Is my filthy brother around?" They heard a male's voice.

Brother? Katherine's eyes went wide as she looked over at Mr. King, though his eyes were fixed on the door.

"Sir?" Mr. Roberts asked, looking at Mr. King.

"Shit," he sighed, looking more than a little annoyed as he ran his fingers through his damp hair.

"Let him in," Mr. King finally said with a sigh and a wave of his hand through the air.

"Thanks, Jeeves," the unknown man said to Mr. Roberts before entering the home.

Stepping into the foyer stood a very attractive looking man with tousled light brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a black leather jacket, ripped jeans and black boots on his feet. He definitely didn't look like anyone Mr. King would associate with. And he didn't seem like he shared any qualities with him as well. Were they really related? He was the complete opposite of Mr. King.

"Brother," the man greeted, sending Mr. King a wide cheesy smile. Katherine noticed immediately that this man's personality was also the complete opposite of Mr. King's just by that one salutation.

"Ethan, what the hell are you doing here?" Mr. King asked through gritted teeth, still clinging to the towel around his waist.

"I've come to see why you bailed. Come to tell you your dad's doing much better," this Ethan person told him, cocking his head as he looked at Mr. King curiously.

"You've come all the way from England to tell me what you could have told me over the phone?" Mr. King snapped, his eyes narrowing on the man who claimed to be his brother.
