Prologue

It was a fine morning, the sun is shining and the birds are singing. It shines through a certain western house at Beika.

An alarm goes on which wake up a high school boy from his bed. He look at the time which is 6 AM, he turn off the alarm and gets up

Shinichi

That's his name, he is the famous high school detective in Tokyo due to his skills for solving many cases. He always help the police solving murders and other first division crimes. He loves soccer as much as he love solving cases. He is one of the best striker at his school and his team always win the championships.

Shinichi stands up from his bed and goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth. After that he goes to a room right beside his bed room and opening it. He look at a bed with someone inside the blanket. Shinichi just smile and go toward the bed

"Oi Conan wake up, it's already morning" said Shinichi while shacking the blanket

The blanket goes lower which show a face of a seven years old boy with a face identical to Shinichi.

Conan

That's his name, he is Shinichi's little brother and well known as Kid Killer due to his skills to help the police capturing Kaito Kid even though he's just seven years old. He sometimes help second and third division crimes with his detective group in school named Detective Boys but he also take a first division crime but put the credit to Mouri Kogoro, Ran's father.

"Hmmm! Five more minutes" said Conan while shoving his face from Shinichi
"This is what happen every time you went to Kaito Kid heist, wake up already! We have school!" shout Shinichi while pull the blanket from his bed

Conan slowly woke up but still have a hard time to open his eyes, Shinichi then open his window to let out the shining sun lights the room. The room was very messy with books all over the place and papers from Kaito Kid

"You are worker indeed huh Kid Killer" said Shinichi mocking his brother
"I don't want to hear that from you, famous high school detective" said Conan talk back at him

Before Shinichi tell more, the door bells and as Shinichi open the camera it shows Mouri Ran in front of the gate, Shinichi quickly open the door

"Good morning Shinichi" said Ran smiling
"Ah good morning..."
"You are still in your pajamas?!" shout Ran surprised seeing his childhood friend not ready for school
"I had a hard time waking up Conan"

"Huh... you are brothers indeed, go take bath, I will prepare breakfast for you two"
"Ah thank you..."

Shinichi quickly goes to the bathroom in their parents room since the one he use already occupied by Conan. Conan comes out from the bathroom and put on his clothes and put his books in the bag, when he got down with his bag on his back, he saw Ran cooking toast and eggs for him and Shinichi.

"Good morning Ran-neechan!" said Conan smiling to Ran
"Ah good morning Conan-kun, yesterday was rough huh" said Ran since she was also there accompany Sonoko
"Yeah... I don't think that thief would disguise as Kogoro-ojisan"

Conan sit on the chair and take a sip of Shinichi's coffee which was notice by Ran

"Wait Conan-kun! You are still seven, you can't drink coffee in the morning" said Ran scolding him
"Sorry... I don't have enough sleep last night"
"Huhh... brothers indeed... here just drink tea"
"Thank you Ran-neechan"

Shinichi went down with his uniform and bag in hand, Conan give him the newspaper since Shinichi always read newspaper before school and sometimes on their way to school while Shinichi give him his usual glasses that he loves to uses.
