Today happen to be that they have a free class because their teacher is absent so most of them are out from the class. Ayumi and the other girls are in the library while the boys are in the field playing soccer. Haibara at first was with the girls but she excuses herself to go back to class because she wanted to be alone. Right now, she's looking through the window, seeing what the boys are doing.

Particularly, he's looking at a certain glasses boy who's indeed the most insane player right there

Real name, Kudou Conan

He goes to the same school as her in LA but she just knows about him and his bullying case right after the knife incident that is the hottest topic in every conversation in school for at least a month but then she heard that he moved away afterwards. She was sure that she would stay in that school but that change completely after her family accident which make her have to change her family name and moved to Japan with Professor Agasa. Not to mention, She didn't think that she would be friends with him

Haibara just look at him as she tried to think very hard about her feelings to him

"I don't see him just as a friend or best friend... I know I feel more but I just don't know... Can I say that I like him..." thought Haibara as she put her head on her arms

Haibara right now is very confused with her feelings. Even though she was caught by both Professor Agasa and Shinichi for having something to Conan and she just said that she likes Conan. But the truth is, she is just not sure that if she really likes or even in love with the glasses boy. She looks up again and see him laughing at Genta who's angry to him for being too good in soccer. That sight just make her look at him intense as she suddenly remembered the day they first meet each other

In Los Angeles

"Ai, this will be your new guardian in Japan" said Professor Haibara in English
"Good afternoon, Ai-kun right? My name is Hiroshi Agasa... Ah wait, can you understand me?" asked Professor Agasa in Japanese
"I know, my dad is Japanese so he taught me" said Haibara as she bow and told him in Japanese
"I'm glad..."
"I'm very sorry Ai that I can't look after you properly. My work just keeps getting busier these days, so I thought that you moved with my relative will make you better but you have to move to Japan" said Professor Haibara in English as he bends down holding Haibara's shoulders
"It's fine, you already helped so much after my family passed away. Thank you so much for everything" said Haibara in English as she hug him

Professor Haibara was surprised as he quickly hug her back which Professor Agasa smile seeing the sight in front of him. Haibara let go and then goes to Professor Agasa

"I will be in your care Professor Agasa" said Haibara as she bow to him
"Likewise! Ah before that... I talk with Professor Haibara just now and it seems you are a high schooler right?" asked Professor Agasa
"Yes... Second year..."
"I'm very sorry Ai-kun, I already registered you in an elementary school nearby my house since I only know about your age. When we get back to Japan, I will quickly talk to the school-"
"No! You don't have to!"
