Filming in Kyoto!

"Kyoto?" asked both brothers to Ran
"Yeah, my dad got a role in a Ryouma movie. He has been filming in Kyoto since yesterday and I'm thinking of visiting him this weekend. Do you guys want to accompany me there?" asked Ran

Shinichi, Ran, Conan and Haibara are on their way home after school. Kogoro has been away for the past week to film the movie, so it's a good chance to have a little vacation as well

"Kyoto huh... That should be fine, I heard Hattori plays as well" said Shinichi as he played with his soccer ball
"Then, Haibara, do you want to join as well? Professor Agasa will be going to Yokohama for the science convention right?" asked Conan to his friend beside him
"Eh? How did you know?" asked Haibara surprised
"He told me yesterday about going there for the weekend"
"Ah let's go Ai-chan! The more, the merrier" said Ran smiling
"Hmm... maybe a change of pace will be fine"
"Alright, I will buy the tickets"

Time Skip~

Four of them are now on the way to Kyoto by airplane. Ran is looking through a magazine happily. Haibara, who was sitting beside her, was confused by her reaction which Ran noticed quickly

"Ah Ai-chan, look here. Did you know that there's a famous limited bookmark that will bring you good luck in love" said Ran happily showing the magazine
"Hmmm but it is not confirmed to be true" said Haibara seems didn't find it interesting
"Ehh but it really works, Sonoko told me that one of my schoolmates who bought this bookmark suddenly got confessed by the one she likes"
"I see... you want to buy it for some good luck huh"
"Eh ah well... hahahaha"

Haibara looks between her seat and Ran's seat to see the two brothers are asleep. Haibara did remember that both brothers were so sleepy due to a case right at midnight. Ran sees Haibara and then smiles at her

"Why don't you buy it as well, Ai-chan?" asked Ran smiling
"Eh?"
"Shinichi always told me that you have great luck, but you might want it too, right, luck on love?"
"I don't bring my wallet"
"I see... That's too bad"

Haibara stays quiet for a moment before she goes back to look at the screen in front of her

Few hours later

All of them have already arrived in Kyoto and are on their way to the filming place. Shinichi and Conan yawn together as they walk by the park. Ran and Haibara just sigh by the two boys

"Seriously, at least close your mouth as you yawn" said Haibara angrily
"Sorry sorry... but today, I seem to be sleepier than usual" said Conan as he rubbed his eyes
"Did both of you even get some sleep before going?"
"We did, but I think it only lasted around... 2 hours?"
"I had enough to scold you for your lack of sleep"
"Hahaha"

"Ai-chan Ai-chan!" shout someone

Both grade schoolers look at Ran who seems to be looking at a certain booth while Shinichi sits by the bench as he fights through his tiredness. The two goes near her and there is a booth that is selling the lucky bookmarks for love

"Welcome! Our store's lucky bookmark that is an extremely popular matchmaking product" said the stall owner
"I see... I don't know it was this popular" said Ran interested
"They're available for a limited two weeks period and will only be sold until tomorrow. Just like with a normal bookmark, it's also possible to affix your names on them"
"Matchmaking product... You gotta be kidding me" thought Conan

Ran quickly looks at her bag which much to her surprise, she doesn't have cash on her, so she quickly goes to Shinichi who's sitting far from them.

"Shinichi! Wake up, Shinichi!" said Ran as she shake him
"Ah hah? What is it Ran?"
"Please lend me some money, there is something I want to buy"
"Eh... well alright..."
