Having Friends Together

Conan and his friends are on their home after school, and it was the first day of school for the glasses boy after what happen to him in Vespania. Luckily, Professor Agasa help both Shinichi and Conan explaining to the school about their absences for past week and the boy's friends demand explanation of what happen to him which he told him almost everything except meeting Lupin III

"So you have been through all of that in Vespania?" asked Mitsuhiko surprised
"Yeah... Man, it was tough, but the worst of all is... Submarine" said Conan as he shivered to his bones
"Submarine?" asked Ayumi confused
"You guys might don't want to know... It was traumatic"
"Woah..." said Genta surprised
"Just what happen to him" thought Haibara as she got curious

Moments later, they saw Shinichi, Ran and Sonoko on their way home or to be exact to Ran's place to eat dinner since Ran insists for having dinner in her place. Conan about to bid farewell to his friends until they follow him too

"We want to know more about Vespania of course!" said Ayumi happily
"Oi oi, I think I already told you guys everything I know about it" said Conan
"We also want to hear from Kogoro-ojiisan as well since you did help him to go to Vespania!" said Mitsuhiko happily
"Well suit yourself then"

Time Skip~

The three kids of course force Kogoro to tell them his point of the story which Kogoro unexpectedly tell them, well maybe since the kids were praising him for being a great detective that solve the royal case in Vespania. Shinichi and Sonoko stay at the agency while Ran, Conan and Haibara are prepping dinner which Shinichi can't help to smile seeing the kids

"What's wrong Shinichi-kun?" asked Sonoko surprised
"Ah no... I just remembered the time when Conan got a cold and his friends make a mistake for not trusting him" said Shinichi
"Hm? It's the first time I hear this"
"I think it was after new year..."

Flashback

A loud cough was heard from the western house of Beika and it was coming from the certain little boy's room. The high schooler put his forehead to the boy's forehead as he seems looking serious

"You seem to don't have a fever but it is confirmed that you have a cold" said the high schooler
"You don't need to point out something so obvious" said the boy unhappy

The two were none other than the Kudou brothers. Conan got a cold and Shinichi is checking his temperature for a fever

"Your face is slightly red as well. You have to stay in bed for a day. I'm going to find our thermometer to check your temperature precisely" said Shinichi as he sits up
"Wait, I'm fine! It will completely go away even if I leave it alone!" said Conan sits up and at the same time his cough got him hard

Conan's cough was very hard on his throat which make Shinichi quickly put him down

"See! You're coughing hard, since you have bad history of being sick, so we're not taking chances" said Shinichi slightly angry

Conan goes back to a sleeping position as he's trying to catch his breath after the massive coughing. Shinichi sigh as he gets up and hold Conan's forehead

"Stay put until I'm back, okay? I will also ask Ran to make you a porridge" said Shinichi as he about to leave his room
"Yes..." said Conan in weak voice

Shinichi close the door as he quickly took out his phone and dial Ran. Ran on the other hand are watching TV in the agency with Kogoro until he got a phone call from Shinichi
