Our First Meeting as Brothers!

It's Sunday afternoon and both brothers are at home, which is a rare occasion since usually there would be a case or either both of them have something to do outside. Luckily, none of their friends invite them to do something and so they got a day off

Shinichi goes in the library trying to find his little brother which he hasn't seen for a while. He looked around to which he giggled as he found him asleep with piles of books surrounding him. Shinichi gently put some piles away, so he can take Conan in his arms. As Conan goes to his arms, his glasses slip down from his eyes to his stomach which give Shinichi a full view of Conan's bare face

"Oi oi are you that tired for not noticing that your glasses just slipped" thought Shinichi giggle

The high schooler smile as he got out from the library and goes to Conan's room to put him in his bed. After putting him in, Shinichi notice picture frames on Conan's study desk. He looked at the pictures of him with his friends, the whole Kudou family, their parents only and the two of them together. The difference between all of it is the picture of him with Shinichi was taken when Conan was still one year old instead of the others where all of them are taken when Conan already live in with Shinichi

"Man... remembering that day sure is funny. How awkward I am to him" thought Shinichi smiling

Shinichi look to the window as he remembered the time when he meet Conan for the first time

Flashback

10 years old Shinichi is now sitting in the library reading some books. Ever since his parents are living in Los Angeles due to Yusaku's job, he has been living alone in the big house. Ran and Professor Agasa being great friends to accompany him for not being alone. He was reading while sitting on the floor with his back leaning to the bookshelves

Suddenly the phone rings, which to be from his mother

"Shin-chan!" said Yukiko seems happy
"What is it mom?" asked Shinichi
"I want to ask you something, if you have a little brother, what name would you like for him?"
"Hah? What's with that sudden question?"
"Just curious~"

Shinichi sigh by his mom hype energy. Even though he found it as a joke, he looked around which to find two books right behind him with their author's name on it

"Hmmm maybe Conan? I don't know, I can't make names" said Shinichi as he sighs
"Conan huh... It sure is interesting having a son with foreign name" said Yukiko happily
"Oi oi... I'm just blurting out names here"
"Well it is a cute name too, thank you Shin-chan and happy early birthday!"

Shinichi was surprise until he sees the calendar which shows to be 25th April which is way too early for her to congratulate his birthday. Shinichi just sigh and thank her mom for the early birthday wish

Time Skip~

One year later

Shinichi is packing his clothes from his room. He looked at the time, which showed to be 11 AM. He quickly take his bag and close the door

"Are you ready Shinichi?" asked someone by the living room

It was his father, Kudou Yusaku

"Yes dad... Seriously, you should have called me if you want to take me to LA. Coming in suddenly and told me to pack my bags and bring my passport is just wrong" said Shinichi unhappy
"Well it's alright right? I already called your school and you will be staying in LA for a week. You don't mind right?" said Yusaku as he stood up
"I'm fine with it but why suddenly wanted me to come to LA?"
"Your mom and I have something to show you"
"Eh?"
