Island with Big Secret Part 5: Finish

Just in a few moments of their arrival on the island, they went into another case and this time, the murder was laying in front of them with a mini bomb. The victim was Twilight Island's police officer, Kumada Shigezou. All of them are shock by the sudden murder, but when the detectives look around the crime scene, the found note stated that be careful what you say. Moments before the case, Shigezou was actually about to tell the truth about the tragedy 25 years ago and who's Mayor Hioki really is but due to that, he was murdered.

Kogoro quickly escort everyone away from the crime scene and let Inspector Kenmochi, high school detectives and Conan to look into the crime scene. Conan then asks to let him down, which Shinichi did and Conan quickly look into the scene seriously

"Ugh... If only I have my notebook now" thought Conan unhappy
"Here" said Shinichi as he gives something to Conan

The boy look which to be his notebook that he lost, he takes it and see inside and find some new writings either his or Shinichi's handwriting

"Did someone uses this before you went here?" asked Conan
"Yeah, Haibara becomes my partner to go through some cases in Twilight Island and I ask her to use your notebook. She gave it back to me before I went out with Occhan" said Shinichi
"I see, alright"

Kindaichi look at the two and can't help to be awe by their coordination. Shinichi who's telling of what he found while Conan writing it down all of it and giving his own opinion. As what Inspector Kenmochi heard from the headquarters, these two are indeed the best combination when working together.

"Kindaichi?" asked Inspector Kenmochi
"Ah no... Nothing..." said Kindaichi as he goes to the two

Three of them quickly talk about the case and evidences that the found out for now. Suddenly, Kogoro comes in and told them that the factory is locked out and they can't get out. All of them quickly goes to the door and tried to open it, but it's no use

"Conan... Can you use your soccer belt to get us out?" asked Shinichi in a low voice
"I can't, I already used it" said Conan sigh
"You already used it? When?"
"When I save Yuuko-chan from the culprit but in the end, I got caught and fell from a cliff and- ah shoot..."
"YOU WHAT?!"

Due to his head that still hurting him, Conan accidentally told what happen to him before that he don't want Shinichi to know. Shinichi who heard him quickly look serious as he bends down holding both of Conan's shoulders

"Ahahahaha... well..." said Conan as he looks away
"Did you know?" asked Shinichi looking at Kindaichi beside him

Kindaichi quickly shake his head immediately when Shinichi shows a very scary look

"I think Kindaichi-san thought I was dead" said Conan in low voice
"DEAD?!" shout Shinichi angrily

Kindaichi just walk away from the two that's currently fighting. Suddenly, a man walk past him and then hit the two quite hard

"This is not the place to fight!" shout the man

Kindaichi was surprised by the man's actions but suddenly Inspector Kenmochi goes beside him so Kindaichi use that chance to ask him

"Did you know who he is?" asked Kindaichi to Inspector Kenmochi
"Ahh he's Mouri Kogoro. That sleeping detective from Beika, it seems he and Kudou-kun are very close" said Inspector Kenmochi
"I see..."

After Kogoro manage to calm the brothers down, all of them are now investigating on the case and what the culprit did to killed Shigezou. After getting evidences here and out, Kindaichi and Shinichi finally found out the culprit and how did the culprit kill Shigezou. On the other hand, Conan looks around the factory serious trying to find a way to get out and suddenly he found someone unexpected and his mouth was shut by the man's hand
