A Sudden Kidnapping!

Haibara won an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet ticket from the raffle. All of them are now at the sushi restaurant eating together

"As expected from Haibara-san. You always won this kind of rewards!" said Mitsuhiko happily
"I was targeting the Fusae Brand voucher..." said Haibara unhappy as she eats
"Ahahahaha..." laugh Ayumi beside her

Conan and Shinichi are waiting for the sushi to arrive, to which the sushi belt gives the sushi that they wanted. Both of them take it together and eat it at the same time with the exact same way. Haibara who sees the scene can't help to find it amusing. Suddenly Shinichi phone vibrate which to be a message

"Meitantei, can I meet you at your house now?"

It seems to be a message from Kaitou Kid or his real identity, Kuroba Kaito. Shinichi find it surprising seeing the thief want to meet him to which he sighs

"Case?" asked Conan as he drinks
"No, Kuroba wants to meet me now" said Shinichi unhappy
"Is it very important?"
"It seems so, I was just about to eat a lot of sushi here"
"We can eat sushi again in the future. Any request for dinner?"
"I leave it to you, that boy maybe eat dinner with us again so just in case, buy more"
"Alright"

Shinichi gets up and bid farewell to all of them as he run out from the restaurant. Conan just sigh as he continued to eat with the others. Haibara notice the change of behavior

"What's wrong?" asked Haibara
"Ah no, I just hate it when Shinichi-niichan has to go when we are hanging out... Seriously, I can't even remember the last time I had a hangout with him without meeting any case or sudden call from Megure-keibu or anything else" said Conan as he took another sushi
"I see, so you want to have a proper sibling time without any mystery around. Which I say to be impossible knowing both of you are practically case magnet"
"I am not a case magnet-"

Suddenly, someone shouts in pain and fell down to the floor while holding his mouth. Conan quickly inspect the body to which he smelled an almond scent by his mouth

"Professor, call the police. This man is murdered by poison" said Conan serious
"Alright!" said Professor Agasa as he called Takagi

Haibara then goes to him and then look at the body

"I told you right?" asked Haibara smirk
"Shut up..." said Conan unhappy

At Kudou's house

Both Kaito and Shinichi are now in the library, with Shinichi giving out his dad's Kaito Kid files.

"Seriously, you called me just to get my dad's data... You don't have these data on your own house?" asked Shinichi unhappy as he sits on the floor
"If I have then I will not come to you Meitantei. My assistant told me that most of my dad's files already gone after his death. I need to look into what my dad stole in the past so that I can pick the right jewel to check" said Kaito
"And here I am helping you, yet I'm the Kid Killer's relative"
"With me having more heists means more job for Tantei-kun right? Let's make it as win-win solution"
"More like giving burden to the police"
"Still, I'm surprised that you let me look into it. If I were you, I would think twice"
"Well first, you are not my enemy in the first place. You have a very good reason for doing heists after all and the second is, I owe you a lot of favors"

Kaito was surprised by Shinichi's words, to which he remembered. Shinichi must mean of that time on the airship hijack when he was unconscious for almost the whole trip by the terrorist group and the most recent one when they almost died due to the bomb in Super Snake and help him on the case.
