Island with Big Secret Part 4: Reunion

Suddenly someone comes in to the room where they are held in. Ayumi quickly hide behind Mitsuhiko as both boys are protecting Ayumi. The man who comes in was Okita

"Oi you kids. I want to ask you something" said Okita
"W-w-w-what is it?" asked Mitsuhiko trying to act tough
"Does your friend that was mention by Sunaga-san wearing a blue blazer?"
"Eh... Yes..." said Ayumi sadly
"Then I'm correct then... Follow me"

Okita ask them to follow him which detective boys has no choice but to follow him. They are taken into another room which to be had a smell like a hospital. Inside, there's a doctor who's sitting on her work desk. Okita quickly close the door and lock it so that no one can come inside

"Sorry for bothering you, but it seems these kids are his friends" said Okita
"Oh I see, why are they here?" asked the doctor
"Hioki-san force me to keep them here due to 'stealing' but I think it's weird for them to be locked up so when he's gone, I thought keeping them here is the best"
"I see"
"What is going on?" asked Ayumi
"Well..."

The doctor stand up and open the curtain which shock three of them that someone is lying on the bed unconscious with oxygen mask on his face and bandaged head which to be their friend that was thrown into the sea by Hideo

"CONAN/-KUN!" shout three of them happily as they go beside him
"So you guys know him after all... I'm glad" said the doctor
"But but... how?" asked Mitsuhiko as he surprised
"We barely manage to save him. When Sunaga-san throw him, I happen to witness it. When he's gone, I look under which see him hanging on a branch so I quickly save him with help of the other workers. After he's in my arms, it seems his exhaustion taken over him and he goes unconscious" said Okita
"That's why Conan-kun's bowtie is stuck on the branch" thought Mitsuhiko
"I think he was unconscious also due to the bleeding on his head. He's been asleep for a day now but he should be okay. I gave him oxygen mask just in case since this is a factory" said the doctor
"Thank you... Thank you so much for saving him!" said Ayumi crying
"I don't want to witness a dying kid after all... You three stay here in the meantime, I need to go back to work" said Okita
"Wait... Can you please tell Kindaichi-san and keibu-san about that Conan-kun is fine... At least if they happen to meet his relative, please?" asked Mitsuhiko
"Alright, I will tell them later"
"Thank you!"

Okita went out from the room, leaving the doctor and the kids alone. The doctor pat Genta and Ayumi's head with her both hands

"You three, look after your friend here, okay. Okita-san mentioned that when this boy at the peak of exhaustion..."

Flashback

Conan managed to back on the edge of the cliff in exhaustion with help of Okita pulling him up with help of other workers. As he about to fall to the ground, Okita manage to catch him and hold onto him. Conan was breathing very fast, which made everyone worried

"Oi brat! Hold on" said Okita surprised
"Bring him to the factory!" said the other worker
"Ahh, you guys, don't let Hioki-san know about this"
"Okay!"

Okita run to the factory with Conan around his arms and he could hear some words let out from his small mouth

"Help..." said Conan in low voice
"Don't worry, you will be fine" said Okita to the boy
"Help... My friends... Somewhere... Please... Help them..."

Conan then fall unconscious as he said those words. Okita was in panic until he finally reaches the factory's infirmary and the doctor quickly give him first aid with help of Okita

"Don't worry, when I find your friends, I will bring them to you in the right time" said Okita as he looked at Conan

Back to present
