[The Holi day started with a peaceful morning]
Sai and Virat were sleeping on their bed. Virat woke up due to sunlight. The first sight he got was the cute face of asleep Sai. He instantly gets a smile on his face.
" Ye ladki kamaal hai , kal itna bada kaam karke aisa bacho jaisa face banake so rahi hai. Kahi ye kal ki wajah se bhool to nahi gayi ki aaj holi hai ? Jo bhi ho achcha hi hai.. " , he smirks to himself.
Virat got up and brought colours of holi hidden in his drawer and started applying it on Sai's face. He was making stubble on her face with the colours to make her look funny.
" Happy holi Sai.. ab chadha na roop ", he smiles mischieviously.
Later he went to washroom to get ready. Sai woke up after a while. She checks Virat's side while yawning to see his face.
" Ye itni subah subah kaha chale gaye? Hm lagta hai wash room me hong " , she thought to herself.
She took her phone from the table to check the time while she sees the date.
" Bappa! Aaj to holi hai mera favourite festival. Aaj to koi bhi nahi bach sakta mujhse. " she went to the cupboard excitedly.
She stopped in midway at her dressing table while her eyes went wide after watching herself in the mirror.
" YE KYA HAI ?! " She rubs her eyes.
" Ye sab akhir kiya kisne ?! " She groaned angrily. She huffed in frustration after getting the person's name in her head.
Virat comes out of the washroom. His eyes went on sai who was looking at him like he stole her candyfloss.
' Ye aise kyu dekh rahi hai mujhe kahi ise pata to nahi chal gaya ki maine iske face par ye sab kiya ? ' Virat thought to himself.
" Arey sai tumne ye kya haal banakar rakha hai apna.. " He laughed casually pretending to be innocent.
" To aapko nahi pata ki yeh kisne kiya hai ? " Sai asked while Virat shook his head in denial.
" Par mujhe boht ache se pata hai ki ye kiska kiya dharaya hai.. Abhi batati hu apko. " She ran to catch him while he went to other side of the room.
" To pata chal hi gaya tumhe huh " Virat chuckled being on the other side of Sofa.
" Haa pata chal gaya, Aur jab itna hi darte hain ki mujhse bhagna pade, to aisi harkate hi kyu karte hain aap ? " Sai asked while moving towards him.
Virat raised his eyebrow on her sentence & stopped moving.
" Mai aur tumse darta hu ? " he laughed while Sai made face.
After a long pause, Virat stepped forward & grabbed her hand from the sofa while pulling her towards him. Her body crashed against his while his other hand wrapped around her waist naturally. A pink colour washed away on Sai's face. He grins watching her flustered face. An intense tension occurs between them.
" Ab kaun dar raha hai ? " he teased.
" Um.. darna to aapko chahiye kyuki in sabka badla mai aaj holi ke rango se le hi lungi.. aap meri saza se bach nahi payenge dekhiyega. " She pretends to be confident while speaking.
Virat raised his eyebrows tightening the grip making Sai gasp. He grabbed her from her shoulders and started leaning in towards her face. Sai was fully flustered, confused to move or not. She closed her eyes in fear. After a while later, she felt Virat's little stubble rubbing on her left cheek and then slowly on her right cheek. She felt his face moving away and opened her eyes.
" Happy holi Sai.. aaj hamari pehli holi hai shaadi ke baad ! " He wished her with sparkling eyes.
" Ye aap kya...? " She was confused about what to reply.
" Tum abhi bhi saza ke bare me soch rahi ho ? Ab to mai tumhare rang me rang bhi gaya hu.. To meri saza to poori ho hi gayi na. " Virat replied softly.
" Nahi.. Actually haa.. I mean.. Mujhe wo.. " She was not sure what to say.
" Um.. mujhe ready hona hai.. tum bhi jao ready hojao phir saath me chalte hain neeche.. ? " Virat asked realising her awkwardness while Sai nods in reply.
CN hall:-
" Sabhi taiyaar hue ki nahi ? " Bhavani yelled.
" Mi kaye mante vahini ab itna sab hone ke baad bhi hum holi celebration kaise kar sakte hain " Sonali replied referring to Pulkit & Devyani's marriage.
" Mast ha mast, jo maine kaha hai uspe dhyaan de aur sab se keh de ki sab jaldi taiyaar hoke aa jaye " Bhavani replied.
" Happy holi badi maami " Pakhi wished walking out from the kitchen.
" Holi ki khoob shubhkamnye Patralekha beta.. Uss jungli mulgi ko issey kuch seekhna chahiye , maharani abhi tak so rahi hogi " Bhavani muttered in frustration.
" Bilkul nahi kaku, mai uth chuki hu aur niche bhi aa chuki hu. Mujhe kisi se kuch seekhne ki zarurat nahi hai aur Pakhi didi se to bilkul bhi nahi. Pata chala mai unki tarah banne lag gayi to wo kehne lage ki mai unki tarah banke unki bezzati kar rahi hu. " Sai replied standing near the stairs.
" Sai tumhari himmat kaise hui meri... " Pakhi replied taking offense while Sai cuts her off.
" Bezzati karne ki na ? Mujhe pata hi tha ki aap yahi bolengi isliye maine kaha ki aapki tarah na banne me hi meri bhalayi hai. " Sai replies sarcastically.
" SAI TUM.. " Pakhi burns in anger.
" Ha pata hai pakhi didi ki mai boht badtameez hu etc etc par aaj ye sab side rakhke hum holi pe focus karte hain haina ?! " Sai countered.
" Sai bilkul theek keh rahi hai.
Agar sab ready ho gaye ho to hame ab park me chalna chahiye. By the wayz happy holi everyone ! " Virat said coming downstairs.
" Happy holi Virat " Bhavani wished.
Till now, everyone gathered at the hall.
" Yaha kya baat chal rahi hai " Ashwini asked worried.
" Kuch nahi aayi wo to mai sabko holi wish kar raha tha " Virat said to avoid drama.
" Godu tune mujhe nahi wish kiya ha " Ashwini replied pretending to be angry.
" Kaise karega, apni biwi ki side lene se fursat milegi to na. " Ninad taunted.
" Baba aisa kuch bhi nahi hain. Aap sab kafi baad yaha aaye isliye wish nahi karpaya. " Virat replied.
Virat then went & wished every member for Holi personally.
" Haa so wishes done. Ab aap sab chaliye function me. Mai aur sai thodi der me sath aa jayenge. " Virat said looking towards Sai while she had no idea what was he talking about.
" Ye Virat pata nahi kyu iss Sai ke sath yaha akela ruk raha hai " Pakhi murmured to herself fuming in jealousy.
