"Elena I know your scared of Klaus and what he can do to you but trust me you will be ok I give you my word." Elijah said pulling the doppelgänger to him. "You will be ok. Now I have to find Niklaus, the witches want to use him to run Marcel out of town. The bait to make him do it is the-.." Elijah went to say

"the kid" Elena said interrupting him. " Please don't let him hurt us. But don't let him hurt my baby. Don't let us down Elijah.. I don't know why Im trusting you I don't even know you. I just have this weird feeling we have known each other a long time. I know it's weird " Elena said

“no Elena it's quite alright. But now I have to go find my brother.”

Elijah found klaus looking down at the streets of New Orleans. Klaus heard Elijah as soon as he reached the roof.

"Evening Elijah." Klaus said to his older brother.

" Niklaus." Elijah responded

"what an entirely unwelcome surprise" Klaus said looking at Elijah a bit.

"And what a entirely unsurprising welcome." Elijah replied." come with me"

" I'm not going anywhere till I find out who is conspiring against me." Klaus growled a bit at his brother

"I believe I just found that out for you." Elijah told his younger brother

Elijah and elena stood in front of Klaus and Sophie. After telling Klaus elena is pregnant.

"No it's impossible." Klaus said in disbelief

" I said the Same thing myself." Elijah said to his brother"No it's impossible." Klaus said in disbelief.

After telling Klaus elena is pregnant. Elijah told Elena to wait in the other room till she can come out to show him she's pregnant .

"this is a lie your all lying." Klaus yelled. "Vampires can't procreate."

" but werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire. But you were born a werewolf. Your the original hybrid. The first of your kind, and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes." Sophie said

“but Elena is not a werewolf. How can this be unless-she is a werewolf. An un-triggered one that how I couldn't smell the scent ”

"wait here a second Niklaus." Elijah said walking to Elena. "come on Elena it's time."

" I'm scared Elijah. You know how Klaus is." Elena whined clinching her stomach.

"I'll protect you I give you my word Elena." Elijah said walking the two back to Klaus.
Even after Elena's memories were gone she still had that feeling she could trust Elijah with her life. So she went.
