Chapter 30- The Fallen

—Rose's POV—

The luck is never on our side, in the moment that Cressida moved she stepped on a pod. That made the buildings around us move, making us being trapped on here with no way out

When I saw what was happening next, I froze. I didn't moved. A lot of things came into my mind

Everything that had ever happened to me came into my mind

Do you know the feeling when you are having a nightmare and then you need to run but your body doesn't move or if it does it's extremely slow. That exactly what is happening to me right now

My mind screamed at me to move and run like everyone else but my body didn't

Someone put their hands on my shoulder shaking me

"Rose.......we need to run!" My husband said while looking at my blue eyes

"It's water" I said

"No, it's not water. That is only your mind playing tricks on you. We need to run"

I didn't said anything and saw Finnick becoming desperate. He picked me up and put me on his shoulder. He ran as fast as he could

I looked behind and saw Josh helping Peeta run as well

"They are coming for me. They will kill me this time" I said

He put me back on the floor and I stayed there looking at the floor. The next thing I saw was Peeta running to Katniss and pushed her to the floor

I don't know what is happening but I ran to them and with the help of ,Finnick and Mitchel, we took him off of her

I helped her getting up but it's like my mind is somewhere else. It's like a robot

I watched as Peeta got out of Mitchel's arms and pushed him to his death. Again, I couldn't react

We all walked to the building and stayed there looking at each other

I felt hands on my face but this time I saw Josh's blue eyes

"Hey kiddo, time to come back to earth" he said shaking me

"There was.........there was........" I couldn't even talk

"I know but now it's over and we need you, so wake up" he said and I nodded

"Gamemakers are still putting on quite a show"
