Chapter 16: Online Rambulan

Jade Allison really enjoyed the event last night — especially that she spend the night together with her brother, it was also their first school event that they were together.

Though, naninibago siya sa presensiya ng Kuya niya, pero masaya pa rin siya dahil hindi ito galit sa kaniya at okay lang sila.

And now, today is Friday. Everything went well the moment she stepped out from her dorm — but not until she entered school.

“Have you heard last night? Kasama niya ‘yong baliw na grade-12 kagabi.”

“Oh, yeah. I heard it too. They were partners last night, right? That bipolar senior.”

“I wonder why they were together. Hindi ba’t siya iyong nagkalat na layuan kako natin iyong lalaking iyon kasi he’s crazy and he might harm us?”

“Oh, yes.”

“But turns out the situation went upside down and she swallowed her own words.”

“I smell something fishy here.”

Jade decided to continue walking but those murmurs from her schoolmates bothered her. Hindi pa pala nila alam kung bakit magkasama silang dalawa ni Justine kagabi. And she has no plans on telling it to everyone.

Well, what for? That doesn’t concerned them anymore. Besides, they don’t do anything but to gossip.

It’s already 8 AM sharp and 30 more minutes, their class were about to start. Kaya hindi siya pumasok ng maaga ngayon ay dahil napagod siya kagabi. Well, passed 11 na kasi natapos ang event at nilinis muna nila ng mga kaklase niya ang buong complex bago sila umuwi.

“Good morning, Cordova.”

Kaagad na kumunot ang noo ni Jade nang humarang sa harapan niya ang nakangising si Dexi, kasama na naman ang mga kaibigan nito.

“Solo isn’t around today so you chose to annoy me instead?” Jade asked the latter directly.

“Nope,” Dexi chuckled that irritates Jade. “I came here to ask you something. You see, everyone was surprise last night because you were together with that bipolar guy on my class—”

“He’s not bipolar.” She firmly said.

“Really?” Humalakhak ito ng malakas. “Eh, ano iyong pinagkalat mo noon na baliw ang lalaking iyon? Nakalimutan mo?”

“Ano ba ‘yong koneksiyon ng noon at ngayon, ha?” Hindi ito sumagot kaya umirap siya. “Don’t talk to me and know your limits.”

Tatalikuran na sana niya ang mga ito pero muli itong nagsalita.  “You shared the same surname, so how are you related to each other? Are you siblings?”

Nagsalubong ang kilay niya saka iritado itong nilingon, “If yes, then what is it to you? Why does it concerned you?”

Dexi laughed her ass out. Halos maluha na ito kakatawa na para bang nakakatawa ang narinig niya kanina lang.

“Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha! K-kapatid mo pala ang baliw na ‘yon—”

Sa sobrang pagkairita ni Jade ay mabilis niyang hinawakan si Dexi sa kwelyo nito — pero imbes na magulat ay mas lalo lang itong humalakhak ng tawa.

Now Jade has gone mad, “Hindi siya baliw!” Singhal niya rito pero mas lalo lang itong tumawa.

“Bakit ba galit na galit ka eh totoo naman? Ikaw iyong nagkalat no’n sa buong campus, ‘diba?”

“You don’t have any idea why I did that — even the slightest fucking bit.”

“Then tell me—”
