Varian and the Seven Kingdoms (Varian's Seven Trials)

Something Hair...

Hugo wandered the kingdom, the sun shining down on him. He passed many Coronans who greeted him as he went. He was headed to work in the Demanitus Chamber. That's why he had the biggest smile plastered on his face. He knew who awaited him once he arrived.
Corona was perfect. Way better than Vooruitgaan, Hugo thought.
Suddenly the sky started to pulsate a bright green. Hugo took notice of this and stopped in his tracks. The pulsing continued, even becoming more intense.
"What the..." The blonde began.

He laid on his front, snoring. Varian laid beside him, a green light emitting from the stripe in his hair.
Hugo's eyes twitched as the flashing light grew brighter and brighter. With a tired grunt, he opened one eye to see Varian, rising out of the bed before him.

The blonde jumped back, tumbling out of the bed and reaching for his glasses on the bedside table. Once he found them, he shoved them onto his face and watched with a sense of unease as his partner's body bobbed in the air above the bed.
"Stripes?" He asked, unsure.
Varian was unresponsive.
"Varian?" He asked again, moving towards the boy. When he failed to respond a second time, Hugo climbed onto the bed and placed a hand on the boy's arm,
"Varian!" He yelled and in a split second, the boy's eyes opened and he fell back onto the bed.
The boy's blue eyes took a moment to adjust to the dark room, and once they did, he stared at Hugo; standing over him on the bed. He raised a brow before opening his mouth to speak,
"What are you doing?"
