TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of overdose, drug use, and addiction."I'm a bit nervous about the secrecy" Max chuckled nervously as Ally held his hand and dragged him towards a building with splatters of paint covering the entirety of it. "Don't be nervous we're gonna have fun" Ally smiled. Ally told Max to cover his eyes as they got closer to the building and he followed her instructions. Ally opened the door and a bell chimed alerting the woman at the desk of her presence.
"Hello I have a reservation for Crimson." The woman typed on her computer and reached for her mouse before responding with a smile and saying "right this way" she led them to room filled with white oversized jumpsuits and Ally decided it was time to reveal the big date "you can look" Ally said as she squeezed Max's arm. Max removed his hand from his eyes and looked around the room. "Okay now I'm even more confused." He laughed. Ally playfully rolled her eyes "paintball" was all she said. Max smirked "so that's why you asked if I like paint" Ally nodded.
The woman grabbed them their jumpsuits, Max and Ally put the suits on over their clothes. The woman told them that their were three other groups for them to target and two of the three were already outside. All of the groups were duos like Ally and Max.
The woman handed them their paintball guns after she loaded them and told them to head outside. She opened a metal door and they walked outside "the other groups are hiding already" the woman laughed.
Ally and Max's began scoping out a place to hide and found a large piece of scrap metal half way under the ground that they could use as a shield. They started towards the large piece of metal and Max decided to break the silence "Thank you for doing this by the way. Apparently my dads aren't planning on getting back together so I definitely needed this date." Max grabbed Ally's hand and glanced at her to see her reaction. "Well I thought it would be different. Every couple goes to Butters or the club but not every couple goes on a paintball date." Ally explained her reasoning.
Max and Ally reached the the piece of metal and hid behind it. Their thighs touched and Max smirked "couple?" He asked though Ally suspected it was rhetorical "well I wanted to wait but I'm sick of not putting a name to what we are I mean yeah this is only our second date but we've been interested in each other for months and I don't want you to think I'm moving to fast-" Max put his hand over Ally's mouth to keep her from continuing her anxious rambling. "I would love to be your boyfriend Ally. You don't have to be apprehensive around me. I've done it all trust me and besides I love girl who enjoys spontaneity." Max interrupted in his typical seductive voice and Ally couldn't help but feel even more comfortable around him. His reassurance was relieving and that fact that he wanted to be her boyfriend made her feel even better.
A loud bell sounded alerting them that the game had begun. "Oh shit i'm assuming we attack?" He asked. "Let's stay behind the shield and try to attack that way" Ally replied. Ally and Max both peeled over the shield and saw one of the groups attacking they pulled the triggers on their paintball guns and attacked.
Ally and Max ran around the field hitting people with balls of paint and getting hit themselves. Soon, Max was chasing Ally, hitting her with paint and laughing as he did. Max attempted to lightly tackle Ally but she found herself tripping over a tree branch. She fell to the ground and Max collapsed on top of her. The two began laughing at their situation but their laughs faded out as they made eye contact.
"You're so beautiful." He said as his hand caressed the side of her face. He tucked a strand of her brown hair behind her ear. "Nobodies ever said that to me before." Ally replied with a small smile. "I don't believe that." He scoffed with a playful eye roll. "Well people have said that to me, but they don't mean it in the way you do" Max's gaze softened and he sighed at the sight before him. He kissed her forehead, her cheek, neck, nose and he kissed her multiple times. He would occasionally whisper sweet things in her ear like "you're gorgeous" and "you're the most exquisite girl in New York" all of the kisses and words of affirmation brought a blush to her face.
