Maya smiled as she looked around at the house she and Josh found themselves in. After Amy had officially decided to scale down with a house and everything, Alan decided that Josh should have the house. With the news of their pregnancy so fresh in the air it was anyway the right time for them.
"Maya, I want to show you something," Amy said.
"Okay," Maya said as the two of them went up into the rooms as Maya saw the one room decorated.
"This was Josh's nursery. Of course we took it down but I thought if you guys are going to have a boy then..."
"Amy, it's beautiful. Thank you so much. I'm early. We can only tell in two months whether it's a boy or a girl but I'm so happy that the kid will have you as their grandmother," Maya said.
"Of course, dear," Amy said.
"It's perfect," Maya said as she went back down towards her boyfriend.
"Showed you the room?" Josh asked and Maya nodded.
"I know it must be hard for you guys to give this up," Maya said.
"Not at all. It's time for us to scale down. Although it would have been nice to wait a bit, it's time. Eric is expecting us in the morning," Alan said.
