Before I can even notice life seems to return to normal. Everyone has some kind of story to tell about their internship but I decide not to participate in conversation today. I'm just never really in a sociable kind of mood

After a while Bakugou comes in with a very...unusual hairstyle to say the least. Seriously what did they do to the poor guy-

Kirishima and Sero both laugh at his ridiculous hairstyle

They just ignore him and continue laughing

Okay I'll admit, I did kinda chuckle at this whole situation
Kirishima: so Shiro, how was your week?
Kaoru: good, I learned a lot from it. But...there was a situation that I can't give you too many details about. Still we did fight a lot a villains and saved many people
Kaminari: now if you wanna talk about the ones who really changed. It's those three
Kaminari points to Izuku, Iida, and Todoroki
Kaoru: oh yeah, you guys did fight that hero killer guy did you? Y'know you're lucky that Endeavor showed up when he did
Todoroki: yeah. That's right, he saved us
Ojiro: did you guys hear the news about the hero killer? Everyone has been saying that he was somehow connected with the league of villains. Can you imagine how frightening it would have been if that creep had been there when they attacked the USJ?
Kaoru: word on the block said that one of those Nomu things helped him out

The class is instructed to meet all might at one of the training facilities. We all go to the locker rooms and put on our hero costumes
All might: I am here! Hope you're ready to return to lessons! Today is hero basic training. Feels like I haven't seen you in a while! Welcome back! Now then, listen carefully for what's in store. We're going to be conducting a little race. Take everything you've learned from your internships and apply it to this rescue training
Kaoru:*thinks* a race...so that means I need speed more than anything
Iida: if it's a rescue training. Shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?
All might: that facility specializes in disasters, as I said earlier, this is a race. So prepare! You're about to step into field gamma! Inside is an area full of factories and form into an intricate labyrinth. So good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in groups of five. Each person starts from a different location on the outskirts of the model City m I'll send a distress signal, and you do what you must to rescue me. Whoever finds me first wins! But try to keep property damage to a minimum please!
Bakugou: why are you pointing at me?
Kaoru: yeah, I wonder why
The first group gets into position, taking off as soon as the distress signal is sent. To everyone's surprise, Izuku ends up moving a lot faster with his quirk
Kaoru:*thinks* how strange...I always figured that Izuku was more of a powerhouse. I wonder what kind of training he went through
Despite gaining the advantage, Izuku ends up slipping giving Sero the chance to take the win
Kaoru: damn-, so close
Kirishima: man..that really sucks
Kaoru: no kidding, I thought he had it
All might: young Sero may have come in first. But compared to the start of the year, you all showed some incredible improvements! Keep working and preparing for the final exams
Group 1 leaves the field and next is group 2. Which consists of me, Bakugou, Ashido, Aoyama, and Mineta
Kaoru: alright, let's rock
Ashido: wait what's up with those googles? Did you have a scouter last time?
Kaoru: I did, but I figured that googles would be better for some of the moves that I pull off
We all get into a position waiting for the distress signal
Kaoru:*thinks* I can only use my unrivaled strength move in a straight line, so I'll have to know for sure where I'm going before using it
All might: ready everyone? Begin!
And we're off. Lowering my goggles over my eyes I'm able to see everything in infrared allowing me to see where all might is. I then fly up with my rocket boots before pouring a lot of my energy into them
Kaoru: alright, here goes nothing. Unrivaled strength!
Boosting forward in a straight line, I fly past the competition reaching all might in very little time
All might: aaaaaand it's over! Thank you and congratulations!
Kaoru: it took a lot in me. So I still have a lot to work on before I can save people with that
Tsu:*ribbit* still, that was awesome
Mineta: damnit! I was sure I would've won too
Aoyama:*tummy problems*
Out of everyone Bakugou looks the most speechless and frankly, quite upset
Kaoru: you good blasty? You do realize it's just training-
Bakugou: shut up CPU. Have fun with your win while you still have. It won't happen again
Bakugou angrily wakes away
