For three days already, I've been cleaning the house and working on something.
Diego will be released in fifteen minutes.
I'm so excited!!!
"But I don't understand!
Why wouldn't Ms. Y/N lawer friend go take Mr. Armando lawyer friend from prison herself?"
Pearl was confused.
"Well, Pearls, Mr. Edgeworth proposed doing that himself!"
Maya explained.
"Then why won't she come with him??"
"I can't, Pearl, I'm almost finishing something and it's very important that it'll be ready when he arrives."
I raised my eyes from the table.
"Is there anything we can help with?"
Phoenix proposed.
"Nope! Thanks, but I made sure everything is ready."
"You did clean a lot..."
Maya looked around.
"Yea... forgetting the windows open in this weather was a mistake... hehe..."
I laughed awkwardly.
"But Mr. Armando is blind!
Why would he care?"
Pearl continued asking.
"PEARLS!"
Maya started lecturing her.
"You'll see."
I could only smile.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"AAAA PHOENIX! OPEN IT PLEASE!"
I quickly scrambled to stand up and clear my mess.
"O-On it!"
Phoenix went to the door.
"Greetings, Wright."
Edgeworth went inside.
"Good afternoon, everyone."
"Where's Mr. Armando?"
Pearl sounded worried.
"Uh... here, there's a step... okay you are here."
Edgeworth guided someone inside.
"Mr. Armando! Good to see you!"
Phoenix put his hand in front of him, but there was silence for a few seconds.
"I, uh, would like to shake your hand."
"Wright, you IDIOT..."
Edgeworth mumbled.
Diego just chuckled. He found his hand and shaked it.
"MR. ARMANDO!"
"MR. ARMANDO!"
"Feys!"
Diego smiled as both of the girls rushed to hug him.
"Now, where is my kitten?"
"Oh, she's here."
Phoenix pointed.
"PHOENIX WRIGHT, YOU ARE STILL AS DUMB AS I REMEMBER."
Edgeworth facepalmed.
"Nah, that's fine.
I am already used to this."
Diego said as I started walking to his direction.
I wrapped my hands around him into a tight hug.
"Y/N! I missed you so much..."
"I-I'm so happy r-right now..."
I cuddled my head into his chest.
But then I remembered that there are people standing awkwardly next to us.
"AHEM. Coffee?"
"Coffee."
Diego nodded.
I looked at the other people in the room.
"Oh, I also bought tea for everyone else and hot choco for lil Pearl!"
I quickly informed them.
