You & Me

My worries kept feasting on me.
The more I thought about it, the more I sunk in.

Differences.
They bother others.

Eyeing myself from up and down, I counted the differences.
The ones that bothered them.

Observing my hand, I did not see your silhouette approaching.

You took your hand in mine.
My heart skipped a beat.

Your aura shined brighter than the sun.
Bathing me in your warmth.
There were no words fitting to describe the light you are to me.

I looked up into your sparkling eyes, wishing I could look at you forever.

Slowly, everything around me faded into nothingness.
My worries washed away.

Only the two of us were left.
Just you and me.

And I knew, with you by my side, there's nothing to worry about.

It's just you and me.

Forever.
