[AUTHORS NOTE:

I'm afraid there is only one mention of Taeyong in this chapter, and it's really only in passing. This chapter is more dialogue and filler so that I can push this story forward, before we get to the goods.

So hopefully, you like it??? But really, it isn't my finest work.]

PREVIOUSLY ON: League of Superheroes

After Thor steals Loki from the Quinjet, Tony battles head on to get what was taken from him. Steve comes in after some damage and puts a stop to the mess. Loki is taken into the helicarrier and stowed away in a giant glass, spherical cage that should hold off the Hulk.

The rest of the team must come together to start the next phase of their plan; find the Tesseract.

Dr Banner and Mr Stark were in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Labs trying to track down the whereabouts of the Cube. Banner was scanning for the sceptre with a device, whilst Tony looked around the room, familiarising himself with the workings. He moved things around, poking at different objects, before he looked back over at Dr. Banner.

"The Gamma readings are definitely consistent with Selvig's reports on the Tesseract. But it's gonna take weeks to process," he admitted weakly, taking a glance at Stark before looking back at his work.

Tony tilted his head, working at his own screen. "If we bypass their mainframe and direct route to the Moner cluster we can clock this at around six hundred teraflops."

Banner scoffed in slight disbelief, "all I packed was a toothbrush."

Tony smirked, humour. He could work with this. Giggling slightly, Tony walked over to Banner's work. "You know, you should come by Stark Tower some time. Top ten floors- all R and D. You'd love it, it's a candy land."

Banner stared at Tony. "Thanks but... last time I was in New York I kind of broke... Harlem," he muttered.

"Well, I promise a stress free environment," Tony grabbed a long pointy stick. "No surprises," he muttered, zapping Banner in the side.

"Ow!" Banner exclaimed, flinching and stepping away.

"Hey!" another voice called, it was Steve. Tony refrain himself from rolling his eyes immediately, the first impression still counted right?

"Nothing?" he turned back to Bruce, looking at the stick and then at his side.

Steve approached the both of them, "Are you nuts?"

"Jury's out!" Tony called. "You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz, bongo drums, huge bag of weed?" he said, tone a little excited at the weed prospect.

"Is everything a joke to you?" Steve questioned, looking too annoyed at Tony to take in the humour.

"Funny things are," Tony shrugged.

"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offense, Doc," Steve said, quickly glancing at Banner.

Bruce waved his hand good-naturedly, "No it's alright. I wouldn't have come abroad if I couldn't handle point things."

Tony sighed, tilted his head and stared at Steve with a deadpan expression. "You're tip-toeing, big man. You need to strut!"

"And you need to focus on the problem, Mister Stark."
