SALIGIA SERIES #1: SUPERVIA

"Good morning, Selene! Slaying as ever!" I smiled widely at the creative member that greeted me pagkababa ko ng van. George on my sides tried contacting Ivah now dahil nakarating na kami sa fitting studio ng kompanya. I remove my shades and greeted some familiar faces that comes to me immediately ng makita nila ako.

Para akong nakaluwag ng matiwasay ng ma-realize na ilang milya na ang layo ko sa babaeng iyon. I feel like I'll have a heart attack every time she lay her eyes on me. Damn you, Emirson! And those cursed ocean blue eyes!

We enter the elegant boutique kung saan gaganapin ang fitting ko para sa isang cover ng magazine. The whole shop was white and gold in colors, kaya naman sobrang elegante noon tigna mula sa labas. The insides are filled by pumped up designers and tailors. Bumati pa ang iilang pamilyar na mananahi sa akin. George meet up with the branch manager to talk out the plans for the fitting. Naupo naman ako sa isang black matte sofa na inimuwestra sa akin ng isang staff.

"Miss Selene, sabi po ni Miss Ivah siya na daw po ang susundo sa inyo rito later?" Napa-angat ang isang kilay ko ng sabihin iyon ni George. She placed herself formally sa gilid ko. Napailing naman ako ng makitang seryoso ang mukha niya dahil sa sinabi.

"Is she really serious on that part? Akala ko nagbibiro lang ang babaeng iyon." I whisper the last sentence back to myself. Nagkibit balikat lamang si George sa akin bago nakipag-coordinate ulit sa head ng  team para masimulan na ang pagsusukat sa akin.

They all went crazy when  the fitting start. Ang iilan sa staff ay inilabas lahat ng pinakitang terno ng mga women suits na gagamitin sa mismong shoot. This magazines features empowered women on their articles every month and its my pleasure to be part of it. Especially that they recognize the triumphs of women in different fields. They also interviewed me last week but it was purely professional questions. Nothing more and nothing less.

Habang hinahayaan silang maging busy sa kanilang trabaho ay inabala ko muna ang sarili sa pagbabasa ng mga huling edition ng kanilang magazines. I was astounded by how beautiful they carry women's victories on each of their article. It also doesn't focus on fashion and showbiz field, they also have interviewed some of the best entrepreneurs and even women in sports.

I thought the meeting would end up as a disaster because of how Emir looked at me with a piercing death stares but eventually she just walkes out of the conference room afterwards, not even throwing an eye on me pagkatapos ng maiinit na titig niya sa akin. Parang may kung anong lumukod sa akin dahil sa ideyang ang bilis lang niyang bitawan ang mga emosyon na dala ng mukha niya. Or am I just hallucinating to feed my ego and think that something is up?

Ivah's evilness sips through me nang matapos iyong meeting. I can see the triumph in her pagkalabas ng fitting room. I really have to find a good distraction for that girl dahil mukhang hindi niya ako titigilan sa lagay ng estado niya ngayon. I bet my whole career that she's on the peak of boredom at nakita niyang napaka interesado ng problema ko kaya't hayan siya. Kahit pa sakit sa ulo niya ang mga issues na kinasangkutan ko, those things fired her up. She really is an adventure seeker, pero huwag naman sana sa buhay ko siya maghanap ng ikakaalis ng boredome niya!

Like I said, Ivah is just very unique in her own ways. You can think of it that she's the best and worst manager that I could have.

Nang magsimula na ang fitting ay kanya-kanyang tungo sa akin ang mga staff ng boutique to help me in the fitting. Karamihan sa kanilang mga suits ay neutral at nude colors. Noong sinukat ko iyon ay nagustuhan ko naman agad ang fit sa akin. The blazer is evidently hugging my fit. Hindi iyon sobrang luwag at hindi rin iyon sobrang sikip. It was in the right size for me to feel comfortable yet fitting to my personality.

"Do you have brighter colors for this one, I'm thinking of yellow or red? Something more than nudes and neutral." Hindi ko na napigilang magtanong pa sa isang staff. I'm now looking at the fit of the trousers on me. I actually liked how it hang on my waist perfectly, hindi sobrang sikip at luwag para sa aking binti and the length is right to shine my heels.
