"No way, really?" Archie asks looking away, a deep red creeping upon his pale cheeks as the blonde before him proceeds to laugh hysterically at his embarrassment,

"Yeah," she nods,

"Can you blame me though? Big bird looks like a fucking sleep paralysis demon," Archie defends himself, as Betty continues to laugh about the time she heard him crying over sesame street through his window when they were ten,

"Why were you watching sesame street again?" she asked,

"Ronnie wanted me to learn Spanish because she was dead set on taking us all with her to Miami so she didn't have to spend the summer without us, according to her watching a Spanish version of sesame street at five in the morning was the best way to achieve that," he explains, taking in a deep breath once he's done, as he remembered the scarring experience,

They'd been talking nonstop for the last couple of hours and to his surprise, Archie was actually having a great time, Betty was a lot more interesting and nice than he'd previously thought, and he felt terrible for having misjudged her all these years,

"You two are really close, aren't you?" she asks, referring to Veronica,

"Yeah, she's my best friend, I love her to death," he nods, she takes notice of the smile that graces his lips and just how bright it is,

"That's all she is? Your best friend?" Betty asks, "No girlfriend or anything?"

"No, completely single," he assures,

"That's nice to hear," she says casually before she proceeds to sip her hot chocolate, he lets out a small chuckle at this shaking his head slightly before sipping his coffee, he looks up and his smile slowly fades, as he sees an exhausted-looking, Veronica walking through the doors, he knows his intentions when singing their song with Betty last night weren't the purest and that inevitably that will lead to her resenting the blonde even more, even if it wasn't her fault, so seeing them together at the moment was something Archie was sure would end badly, she looks up and meets his gaze, she smiles widely as they make eye contact it slowly fading as she sees Betty there she looks straight ahead where Tabitha is greeting her, pulling her friend into a tight hug before heading into the back to put her stuff in her office, he contemplates getting up to go check on her but she comes back a few seconds later when she does she asks Tabitha about which tables need their orders taken,
