Chapter Thirteen - I Guess No Hard Feelings,

Don't wanna be sour but it's bittersweet

Bad taste in my mouth cause you're over me

Trying to let go,

Please don't say, "Hi" I don't wanna be rude

She seems so sweet and I'm trying to be cool

Hold tight all my brokenhearted,

Little Mix, "A Mess (Happy 4 U)"

Mi Amor🥰

What's going on?
Why are you declining my calls?
And where the hell have you been these past two days?
We were perfectly fine Sunday??
Ronnie, come on, we can't be back to this again, I thought we agreed to communicate
I don't care if you're mad at me but at least let me know what it is that I did wrong so I can fix it,
You know how much I hate fighting with you,
I love you,
I just really miss the way we used to be,
Please just talk to me,

"You sure you're alright?" Cheryl asked, as she slipped on her knee-high socks, looking back at Veronica who laid bundled up in Cheryl's wine red comforter, the last two days she'd spent in that exact same position she didn't move an inch for anything other than the bathroom, but she was barley eating or drinking so it wasn't as if there was a need for it anyway, she'd tried to go back to the Andrews' home but once she glanced over at the Cooper house right next to it and she caught a glimpse of Betty's window the one which faced Archie's room the memory of them on her bed came flooding back sending her into a fit of hysterical sobbing once again, so without asking Cheryl set foot on the accelerator and took her back home with her, her mother asked no questions it wasn't as if Veronica spending the night was something new, as for the crying Cheryl had simply utterd "boy problems" and that was enough for her mother to understand that the subject was something they wanted to never speak of again,

"I don't get it!" Cheryl had screamed after she'd carefully laid her weeping best friend, on the bed, "Archie wouldn't do this, he loves you V, so much that it can get scary at times he cares about you he knows you're sensitive he would never agree to this 'friends with benefits' bullshit, and since when is he the relationship type? And with Betty?"

"Please, I-I-I just don't want to talk about this," Veronica cried as she clung to one of the many pillows tightly, "I just want to forget about it," the redhead let out a heavy sigh, she wasn't content with this answer, she thought her best friend ought to be fuming that's what the badass, no fucks giving girl inside her would do, but she quickly realized, after she'd stopped pacing and took notice of how Veronica was staring at her lock screen which still contained a picture of her and the back stabbing asshat Cheryl once called a brother, that Veronica could never be that person with Archie, she loved him too much to do that, this newfound information made Cheryl's blood boil further, she deserved that exact same courtesy from him, she thought, but instead of voicing this fact, she sighed, she knew the last thing Veronica needed at the moment was someone telling her that she was wrong to feel this way, she needed someone to comfort her and so that's what the redhead did, she pushed her anger aside and climbed onto her bed, cradling the raven-haired girl's body tight against her own, rocking back and forth as if she was trying to sooth a screaming baby, to be fair that's exactly what Cheryl saw, she placed a gentle kiss on Veronica's forehead and she'd whispered,
