"I'm sorry babe but this is just so stupid," Archie laughs as his eyes scan the sheet of paper, Veronica rolls her eyes readjusting her positioning on his lap,

"It's not," she says, "Did you know my Abuelita decided to marry my abuelito because he passed this exact compatibility test in one of her Vanidades magazines, they were together of thirty-six years, that's practically a lifetime," he lets out a small chuckle shaking his head, he grabs the magazine from her hand and tosses it to the ground, he turns back to her using both hands he brushes a few pieces of hair from her face and pushes it behind her ears, he leans in resting his forehead on hers,

"I don't need some dusty old Spanish magazine to tell me you're my soulmate, I already know you are," he stated confidently his certainty in his words making her heart swell, 

"You really think so?" she asked softly, 

"I know so," he assured, as he leaned in the rest of the way attaching their lips to one another, 

"I love you," she whispered after he'd pulled away, he closed his eyes letting out a content sigh,

"I love you too," he breathed out before pulling her into his chest and holding her close for the rest of the night,

"Veronica?" Katy's voice combined with her embrace pulled her from her racing thoughts, 

"Huh?" Veronica croaked out, her voice shaky from sobbing, Katy sighed, running the pads of her thumbs under Veronica's eyes wiping away the stream of tears that cascaded down, 

"Honey," Katy whispered pulling the raven-haired girl's shivering body into her arms,

"I know it's dumb," Veronica said shakily, "We were never anything official, but he loved me, and I love him," she stopped herself not knowing how to end that statement, they loved each other at least she was sure they did, 

"It's ok, babe it's ok, that's never going to change you know that right? You'll always love each other," Katy assured,

"I thought you hated him," Veronica sniffled, 

"I love you," Katy shrugged squeezing her one final time before pulling away, "Now wipe those tears we have insufferable nobodies to impress," Veronica let out a small laugh taking Katy's hand in hers letting her lead her out of the locker room and out to the field, 

"Veronica," Mike beamed as he watched the raven-haired pair make their way onto the sidelines, Katy parted from her beelining for Tabitha who sat snacking on a pineapple pastelito with Rosie, 

"Hey," Veronica managed a smile though her voice was still shaky, 

"Is everything alright?" he asked brushing a piece of hair behind her ear,
