Duke is the same mischievous Duke he was before, he returned the crystal to his Grandfather, getting a big scolding about it. He looks foreword to getting out of the Academy as soon as he can. Alex is happier than ever. His life finally feels complete. Although he'll never know his father, because not even Epiphany's father remembers who he was, Alex doesn't mind.
