Pt. 8 - Whatever...

I sat on the chair in front of the pool, looking at the one next to me. Me and Magdalena used to sit here and watch the kids swim in the pool and have fun, while dreaming of having our own.

And now when I thought we finally got there... Whatever

Whatever

Isn't that just it? Whatever?

Nobody cares about me, nobody cares about this place, nobody cares about anything with my life involved in. I don't care about myself. I don't care about anything anymore

There was just one nice girl, and she was just a tourist. Is that what my life had become? After Magdalena left me, it became even worse...

Home-work-home-work. There really wasn't something special in my lifestyle. And the problem was that now I didn't even enjoy my job as I used to. Not after she lied to me...

The water in the pool was clear and calm. There were no kids around. Everything was silent. I was alone in this area.

I am alone. Again. Should I do it? Nobody cares about me anyway... What is going to happen? Everybody will panic, call the cops and for an ambulance, then everybody will stop acting as if they care, they're going to rob me and leave me here... Yeah, sounds good enough

But when I stood up from my chair and got ready to jump in the water and go under the planks, I heard laughter coming from my right. I guess I can't get the chance until around midnight...

But when I turned around, holding my tears back, I saw the most beautiful sight in my life...

"Stop it, Cestria!" I heard that guy shout "It's none of your business!"

"I am just happy about you, guys" she answered innocently and smiled beautifully.

I felt my eyes watering when I saw her friends hug and kiss lightly. I remember when I and Maggie were a young couple like this and were so free and happy- Whatever

I brushed over my already wet eyes, so they don't suspect anything.

"Hello, Big J"

Alright, he already had a nickname for me, and I didn't even remember his name...

"Hello" I gave them a fake smile, but I think I was getting better and better in these, because no one of them suspected anything. "What are you up to?"

"I thought you were going to drive the canoe?" the girl which I think they called Hannah asked

"Oh. Yeah, that." I got thoughtful for a second, I really forgot about that "Well, you're the first adult people that want to jump in the pool from the canoe. I thought kids are going to come..." I gave them an uncomfortable smile and Hannah just giggled

"But it's not a problem at all, I'm still going to give you a ride," I said and pulled the canoe closer to us, then got in the middle so it won't flip by the weight change

"But I thought Oli and Izzie are coming too?" Cess asked and Hannah immediately answered

"Well, I think they aren't going to participate in any kind of stuff we are doing together any longer, because they want to spend more time with each other, you know... They were apart for a long time since their last fight and they want to get along now" she stated and Cess nodded

Then Hannah and her boyfriend, obviously, jumped into the boat and there was no room for Cestria

"Don't worry, guys, I am not a fan of these canoe jumps anyways. You can have fun, I'll just stay here and watch" she insisted and I felt a bit disappointed since the only person who made me feel nice was her.

I grabbed the paddle and swam away, heading for the middle of the pool, so they could jump in the water without hitting themselves. I was not prepared, I was still in my usual white clothes, and that's why I tried to stay upright on my feet. I didn't want to get wet, even more, because I wasn't in the mood.

I watched them jump in the water, then hold on to the canoe, because it was too deep for them, and giggle like fifth-graders

"Mike, buddy, come in the water!" The guy shouted, but I just shook my head and tried politely refusing. But when he insisted and I couldn't swim away, because they were on the sides of the boat, I felt a bit trapped.

I looked hopeless at Cestria and she just giggled at me. Yeah, how funny. Ha. Ha. Ha.

"Come on, Mike!" They both shouted and started rocking the boat. I tried to keep my balance, but eventually, it just got too much for me and I jumped in the water myself

They all laughed their asses off, but I felt pretty uncomfortable, because I knew I couldn't get out of the pool with them around. My clothes were half see-through when dry, and when they were wet... Gosh, better don't even ask

"Alright, I'm coming too!" Cestria shouted and at the moment I turned around, water splashed in my face. And when she got up, the sight was... Man...

To see her half-naked and dripping wet right in front of me... This was like the Paradise

But I needed to get out of there, I didn't want to be hard in the pool and when I get out, they to see my man pride. So I tried to think of something, but I couldn't, just because of the thought of the woman in front of me

"Are you okay?" Cess asked me and they all looked at me. Gosh, how I hate attention...

"Yeah. Yeah, I think so. But I should get out of here, I need to be dry and ready for the pizzas later... And what if the air pillow drops its level, who is going to fix it? I really need to be out" I stated and Cestria looked a bit disappointed

"Okay. See you later?" She mumbled and I nodded with a tiny smile.

Gosh, how I wanted to be here with her. But with her and only her... I just wish she was here all by herself

When I walked out of the pool I was already half-hard and tried to walk away with my back towards them. Fortunately, I succeeded and rushed to my house, on around 2 minutes of running from the hotel.

When I got home, the first thing I did is to walk into the bathroom and start the shower. I definitely needed a cold one.

When the time for the pizza came I walked up the stairs to the pizza place and sat between the children with my tray full of dough, as usual. I sang my usual mantra and when I was done I got to my usual place next to the furnace. I loved working with children, but I felt a bit tired from all of this.

Kids and parents started dropping their pizzas and I hoped for Cess to make her own, just to be close to her, even for a few minutes.

Eventually, she came, and luckily she was from the last people, that meant we can talk more

She put her pizza on the table and it was a heart-shaped one. It looked gorgeous.

"I like the shape of this one," I said and pointed to her pizza and she smiled goofily and blushed. God, I love the way she reacts to me

"Thank you" was all she said and we got silent for a moment

"Are you coming later? We are going to go to Dedovo, it won't be a hard walk, only downhill" I asked hopefully, but she shook her head

"I'm too tired for another walk today, sorry. But I will come to the tent tonight?" she said as if she asked me if that's alright and I nodded. I was kind of disappointed that she won't come, but at least I'm going to talk to her later.

And with that thought, I left the pizza place and went on a hike... I cannot wait until after the dinner
