Problems started to arrive after some months. Austin was really understanding with Eddy's needs, and when he tried to push a little further and Eddy said no, he stopped. The problem were his continuous questions about Brett. Obv Eddy had told him about Brett, not his crush, but the fact that he was his best friend and one of the most important people in his life, and the blond man had started to act like he suspected something.

At the beginning was just a bit insistent when he asked Eddy if there was really nothing between them, and after Eddy had told him for the millionth time no, he let the topic drop. Sure, Eddy had lied a little, but just a little, he was really trying his best with Austin, and wanted things to go well between them.

He could understand Austin's concern about Brett since he spent almost every day with the shorter violinist, and he tried to find a good occasion to present Austin to Brett the quickest way possible, but he just didn't want to jump like he did with his exes, so avoid his new partner and Brett to meet after just one date.

The occasion presented when he came home late form one of his filming sessions with Brett.

He kinda expected Austin to be concerned but not to assault him for arriving one hour later to Austin's place. It was simple one night at Eddy's and one night at Austin's not every night but something close, and usually the night at Eddy's was when he filmed at Brett's place so that there was no risk for the two of them to meet before he had made up his mind about this. And to be honest it was quite some times that he came late, but a youtube channel is not something easy to administrate, and this simple explanation was enough for the first times, but apparently not today.

Eddy: "Hey...sorry, I'm late, we had a problem with our apparel, one of the item clothing we were expecting today was missing so we have to call the agency, and other boring stuff"

He said while walking in the house and giving Austin a quick peck on the lips

Austin: "Mh, so the excuse this time is this"

He said coldly. Only in that moment Eddy realized what was Austin's expression: disappointment, disgust, rage? A mixture maybe

Eddy: "Well, it's true...we had some problems with the agency, it's not the first time and it won't be the last..."

Austin glared at him with angry eyes before raising his brows like surprized by Eddy's boldness

Austin: "You can tell me if you prefer fucking your best friend, instead of making up a new story every time"

He spat out with what Eddy swore was venom

Eddy: "...not again please, I already told you that there's nothing between me and Brett!"

Austin: "But you love him"

Eddy: "He is my best friend sure I love him, but not in the way you think!"

Bullshit, but still

Austin: "Ok then so why I never met him if he is so important in your life? Am I not important enough to meet the great Brett?"

Eddy: "I already told you that I want to go slow, and not rushing like I did with my exes"

Austin: "Bullshit Eddy! We've been dating for 5 months, it's more than just one date like you did with your exes!"

Eddy: "I know but..."

Austin: "But what? You don't want to put your boyfriend in the equation with your lover?"

Eddy: "Oh Christ! I already told you that there's nothing between me and Brett!"

Austin: "Ok then, tell him about me then!"
