"Hey, wolf boy," you leaned against the doorway at school.

Isaac immediately looked up and smiled widely.

"You're back," he ran to you, pulling you into a large embrace.

"I missed you so much," you said.

"Me too."

You had spent the last 5 weeks at a safe house because Scott had thought that Theo and the Dread Doctors were after you. You weren't allowed to see anyone except for your brother and mom.

"So, what are we gonna do today?" he said. He held your hand as the two of you walked down the hallway.

This wasn't something uncommon, you two were the best of friends. Even though you wanted something more, you were too afraid to say anything, not wanting to ruin your friendship.

"We can't do anything. I have 5 weeks of studying to catch up on," you sighed.

"What? You nerd." he put his arm around your shoulder and pulled you in tightly. You hid your blush.

"Yup. That's me," you smiled.

"Okay, how about I help you study? We can meet at the library around 6,"  Isaac suggested.

"You'd rather study than go out?" you asked in disbelief.

"No, I'd rather spend time with my best friend who I haven't seen in over a month," he said.

You smiled.

"Okay, I'll see you at the library. I gotta go now. A teacher wants to talk to me," you said.

"That sucks. Which teacher?" he asked.

"Uhm, I don't know. Some new one," you replied.

"Oh? I didn't know we had new teachers," he said.

Weird

"Maybe I should go with you," he said.

"No, it's fine. I'm at school. There are cameras in every hallway. Nothing could happen," you said.

"Okay, fine. I'll see you tonight. Bye," he kissed your hand and left you.

It was small gestures like those that made you fall in love with him. He kissed your hand, he always held you. You were falling for him, hard.

But you would never know how he felt back as you walked into the dark classroom. You squinted, trying to see if you could see anything.

"Hello?" you called out.

No answer, but you heard the door shut loudly behind you.

"Crap," you realized. It was a setup.

---
"Scott, have you talked to (Y/N)? They were supposed to meet me at the library.

"You're kidding me, right? I thought they were with you," he frowned, frustrated.

"No, I haven't seen them since school,"  Isaac said, feeling slightly worried.

"That was 2 hours ago," Scott yelled.

"Call Stiles. Now. I'll meet you at the school," he hung up.

"(Y/N), please be okay," Isaac muttered, driving off.

---
You awoke with a painful banging in your head. You scrunched your eyes. You saw Theo.

"Theo?" you groaned.

You were restrained on a table.

"You're awake. Finally." you turned your head to the side and saw the Dread Doctors.

You immediately started pulling the restraints.

"Let me go!", you yelled.

"This isn't gonna get you anywhere, you know. Just stay still and it'll be over soon.", Theo said.

You were being pushed against the table.

"Please let me go!", you screamed.

You could feel the blade against your chest and the bruises on your arms.

The blade started going deeper and deeper. You held back a scream.

You heard a loud bang and a growl.

Isaac

Just as Isaac walked into the room, the doctors ran. Leaving you with Theo.

"Let them go," Isaac growled.

Theo took a knife and went to you, pointing the blade directly above your heart.

"One step and they're dead.", Theo said.

Isaac froze.

"It's not worth it, Isaac. Go.", you called out.

"Theo, don't do this," Isaac tried to stop him.

But he couldn't stop Stiles.

A loud gunshot echoed through the room. Before you knew it, the blade was in your stomach.

The most part was a blur until you saw yourself in Isaac's hands.

His face was red and his eyes were bloodshot.

"Hey Wolf Boy," you spit out.

"Y-You can't... Please (Y/N), I just got you back. I don't wanna lose you again. Please," he cried.

You took a shaky breath in. It was now or never. Your last chance to tell him how you felt.

"Scott!" he yelled out.

"I-Isaac,"  you cried softly.

"I'm right here, (Y/N). Let me take your pain," he held your arm.

"Scott!" he yelled again.

"It's not gonna work," you choked.

"No, It will. I-I have to try," he yelled through the tears.

He gripped your arm tighter.

"I love you," you said.

He cried harder.

"Isaac, I love you," you said again.

"I love you too (Y/N)," he cried.

"Scott where the fuck are you?!" he yelled again.

"Tell my family I love them," you whispered.

"No, you're gonna tell them yourself," he stood up, carrying you.

"Isaac it's too late," you sniffled.

He didn't care.

"You're gonna make it," he shook his head.

Scott ran to you.

"What happened? Shit," he yelled.

"Where were you?!" Isaac yelled.

"Theo. He got away," he said.

Isaac could feel you going limp.

"We need to get them to the hospital," he said.

"Take their pain!" Scott yelled.

"It's not working!" Isaac yelled.

"Scott," you said.

"(Y/N), you're gonna be okay. I promise," he said.

"Tell Mom I love you guys," you said.

"You're gonna make it (Y/N)," he cried.

Isaac placed you gently into the backseat of Stiles' car.

"Quickly Stiles."

---
The doctor came out of the operating room, a look of disparity on their faces.

"I'm sorry. We did what we could. Time of death, 10:42 PM."
