black forest

all that black ink of unspoken is coming up my throat

it drips from my open mouth

where it touched the ground it leaves a scorched mark

forest of black bent leafless trees

skeletons sitting in frozen cathedral

only sanctuary i find comfort in

for their eyeless nests

see all ghost the same (for what we really are):

monsters with unspeakably cruel past.
