as you guys know: y/n is deaf, they will only be deaf for a chapter or 2.

y/n will both say and sign things most of the time, same for others.

-7 years later

y/n clutched her backpack in her hand and stared out the window in the passengers car seat. she glanced at her phone every minute.

"hey.." aizawa said while staring at the road. he glanced over at y/n and tapped her shoulder. she whipped her head over. he took his hands off the steering wheel for a second

"you're gonna be fine." he signed. he's been taking lessons for about 8 years. "and next year you'll be at ua."

"i know." y/n said very monotone to cover up that she wanted to vomit. this would be the first school she would go to with other kids. aizawa wanted to homeschool her until she goes to ua. thinking more about it, he wanted y/n to have more experience with kids her age. "i just personally think i'll be fine at ua..."

aizawa sighed "i want you to have more social interaction...i don't want you at ua as the awkward kid that always looks annoyed."

y/n chuckled. "i'm fine with that." she looked back out the window. aizawa smiled and stopped the car. y/n turned her head waiting for him to say something.

"i'm dropping you off here everyday, the school is within walking distance from this point.." aizawa put his hands down.

y/n looked at him in shock "what?! i don't know where to go.." y/n signed quickly and frantically. aizawa moved his head to try and look behind y/n.

"follow that kid.." y/n turned around and there was a kid in an all black uniform and green hair. she turned her head back to aizawa, her mouth agape.

"c'mon....." y/n groaned and leaned back. "you cant drop me off..?"

aizawa smiled "no. now get out of the car." y/n looked at him annoyed "i love you."

y/n rolled their eyes and stepped out of the car. she closed the door and looked back at aizawa "i love you too" he smiled and drove off. y/n wanted to throw up. she turned around and the kid was jogging in place waiting for the cross walk to change, once it did, he started running.

'what the fuck...i'm not late..' y/n prayed that this kid didn't go to her school, only for the purpose that she could yell at aizawa for not dropping her off at the entrance.

she followed the kid far behind. eventually he lead her to a villain attack that had gathered a crowd. y/n slowed down and looked at the scene amazed. she pushed through the crowd and found herself accidentally standing right next to the green haired boy.

even more hero's showed up, y/n knew a large amount of them. suddenly a hero that y/n didn't know showed up, his skin looked to be like wood.
