Chapter 6

ASHRIEN'S POV:

Unti-unti kong iminulat ang aking mga mata nang maramdaman ko ang sinag ng araw. Ngunit agad rin akong naalerto nang maalala ko ang nangyari bago ako mawalan ng malay. Inilibot ko ang aking mga mata sa kwarto at laking pasasalamat ko na sa'kin ito.

Bumaba naman ako ng kama at lumabas.  Agad akong binati ni Rien pagkakita sa'kin at ipinaliwanag ang nangyari kagabi.

"Thank you once again Rien..",pasasalamat ko.

"No problem Miss. By the way, here's the thing I have mentioned yesterday",abot niya.

So it's a letter?

Tinanggap ko naman ito at binuksan. Nang matapos ko itong basahin ay napabuga nalang ako ng hangin.

They just want me to go there to. I don't know what it is, but I don't want to go. I still can't face them, by what I had done.

"I'm going out",anas ko.

"Did they request for you?",he asked.

"Yeah, but that's not the reason I'm going out. I just want some fresh air",I replied.

"Alright"

"Here it is",the florist uttered and handed me the bouquet.

Kinuha ko naman ito. Nang matapos akong magbayad ay agad akong umalis at ipinagpatuloy ang aking byahe.

Ilang oras ang nagdaan ay nakarating din ako sa aking pupuntahan. Agad akong bumaba ng kotche.

Habang naglalakad ako ay unti-unting bumigat aking damdamin. Tila bumabalik lahat ang lungkot na aking maingat na tinatago. At nang tuluyan akong makalapit sa harapan ng isang lapida ay saglit akong napatitig dito. Ngunit di nagtagal ay umupo rin ako at inilagay ang dala kong bulaklak.

"Hi mom", pinipigilan kong bumasag ang aking boses. "How are you? I'm sorry if it took so long for me to come back in here", I continued.

Nilabas ko lahat ang aking nararamdaman hanggang sa hindi ko na mapigilang umiyak. Masakit pa rin sa akin ang nangyari. Kahit tanggap ko na ay may parte pa rin sa akin na dapat  kong sisihin ang sarili ko. Na hindi mangyayari yun kung hindi dahil sa akin. Kung hindi dahil sa ginawa ko.

FLASHBACK...

I was having fun playing with my friends when mom suddenly called me who had just arrived here at school to pick me up.

"Mom!", I shouted and run towards her.

Two of my friends also followed me.

"How was your day sweetie?"

"It's okay mom, I have so much fun again. How about you?", I asked.

"It's also fine baby. How about you two, Henrick and Hailey?"

"We also have fun!", the twins said in chorus.

The two of them became my friends for half a year now right after I enrolled in this pre-school.

"That's good to hear. Come on baby, let's go home",mom invited and I followed her.

I bid goodbye to my friends first before we leave. When we reached our house, I immediately run towards the door to go to my room.

"Sweetie, no running inside the house!",mom warned but I didn't mind her.

After I went inside, I immediately continued my experiment. I have this research that my parents don't know about. But they know I was doing something in secrecy, but they only thought I was just playing and they are complacent on everything I do since they knew my capacity. And I know to myself I am different from other kids. Also, I was able to do this experiment since Mom was also like me and she has her own lab. And I can just get some materials there.
