• Given the adorable assh*le he is, soft and sweet moments with him are quite rare

• But when they do come, make sure to bask in his affection because you won't regret it

• When you're feeling down, insecure about your looks, talents abilities, Five would immediately notice -- thanks to his keen intuition

• Would stop whatever he was reading, doing or plotting and continue to watch you without your knowledge

• Would approach you and try to make small talk, like:

• "Do I have to kill someone today, Y/N?"

• But you mustn't be as good as you thought at hiding your emotions, because he sensed it the instant you replied with a small smile

• "What's wrong?" He would ask gently

• But being the stubborn idiot you are, you would deny everything

• "Huh? Nothing. I'm fine."

• "You know you're a terrible liar, Y/N."

• By then, it was useless hiding anything from him anymore -- so you would just spill whatever was bothering you out

• Wouldn't care if it was something petty or trivial -- for him, if it was enough to bring your high spirits down, it was serious

• His mood would definitely change alongside yours, evident in the way his eyebrows furrowed together and his jaw clenched slightly

• Would listen quietly as you ranted about what's on your mind and in your heart

• Whenever he disagreed with how you felt about yourself, he bit his tongue back to stop himself from blurting out how much he disliked you talking about yourself in such a way -- after all, he wanted you to release and help you realize that your feelings were valid

• When you were done, he wouldn't know what to do or say right in that moment, noticing that you were still very upset and on the verge of tears

• Gosh, he hated seeing you like that. If he could only stab your insecurities away, he would in a heartbeat

• So he would just scoot closer to you and let his shoulders rub against yours at the proximity

• Would stare at you like you were fragile glass worth protecting and saving -- because that's just how much you meant to him

• After a few moments, he would place his free hand on your own, and rub his thumb over it soothingly

• Being the wisest of the siblings, he would give you some much-needed advice, reassuring you of your worth and purpose

• "I may not be the best person to tell you this, but you're such a badass, Y/N. I don't know why you feel otherwise."

• "You know I'm here to listen to you. But I'm sorry, I can't accept the way you speak about yourself."

• "There's no use in comparing whatever you have to those of others. There's always gonna be people who are more attractive, more talented, more intelligent than you are... and I'm here to tell you that that's okay."

• "Look at me. Look at you. You can do so many things I can't, in the same manner I can do stuff you can't. We're all special in our own way, Y/N. I want you to know that."

• By then, you would have broken down in tears -- touched at the sincerity and truthfulness of his words

• "I guess I just feel like I'm some insignificant piece of sh*t at times." You would say, laughing dryly

• This line left him speechless, and he found himself getting hurt along with you, because he felt the same about himself a few years back -- before you came into his life

• He couldn't believe the same words that he used to punish himself with all the misdeeds he had done as an assassin of the Commission were now slipping out from your lips

• You, the girl who put others' needs and feelings before her own; the girl who would literally die for the ones she loved; the girl unafraid of diving into the deep waters for the sake of the people she loved

• Five would respond to your statement with:

• You would bury your face in your hands, and he would take this opportunity to pull you to his frame and envelop you in his arms, placing his chin on the back of your head

• Would trace circles on your back and whisper sweet nothings in your ear

• As you sobbed while you took in his statements, he would smile softly at the thought of you trusting him enough to open your feelings up to him

• "If it's any consolation, you don't have to be pretty, talented, or smart to be special to me."

• You would grin at this, and wipe your tears away as you gazed adoringly into his eyes

• "I like this side of you. This should come out more often."

• Would playfull roll his eyes at you, but appreciated how you acknowledged his efforts in making you feel better about yourself

• "It would if you didn't annoy all the time."

• "Ah, you love me anyways." You retorted, smiling as you noticed a blush appearing on his cheeks

• "Shut up."
