It was very odd to Stiles that his life was so different now. He had been conscious for three days now and it felt like everyone around him was holding their breath. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not only that, but having Derek living in the house was so weird that he kept almost double taking each time he just saw him sitting and reading a book on the couch or making coffee in the kitchen. It was so different from the view of the wolf from before.

This Derek was ... so domestic. Stiles just stopped in his tracks as he stepped into a room and saw Derek folding clothes. ".... This is just so weird. You are folding clothes in my house..."

Derek finished folding the shirt and set it on the stack and turned around looking at him. "Doing laundry is weird? Some would say it's the most normal thing to do. And yes... I am staying here. So this is where the laundry is done." There was a hint of amusement in that quiet voice of his.

Stiles blinked and gestured wildly with his hands as usual. "But see that is the rub. You doing normal things isn't normal!"

Derek smirks and turns back to the laundry and picks up another shirt. "You do see the irony of that statement, right?"

Stiles was going to say something when he realized that that shirt was his. He looked down at the stack and pile and realized that this was his laundry. Derek was folding his laundry not Derek's own laundry. "W-... why are you folding my lau-" Suddenly realizing that whatever state he was stuck in for the last few months he had been so messed up that he couldn't do his own laundry. And Derek looked so comfortable doing his laundry which meant that this must be a repeating occurrence.

Derek looked over his shoulder back to Stiles and paused his folding again. "What was that Stiles?"

Stiles observed Derek some more and then stepped forwards and took his shirt out of his hand. "I..." Stiles wasn't exactly sure he knew what he wanted to say. So instead he just started folding his own laundry and felt a bit of embarrassment color his pale skin. "Whatever you had to do to help me... thanks. I must have been a pain in the ass."

There was a long silence and Derek hadn't moved away and only just stared over at Stiles only a foot away and that look in his green eyes were unreadable. Well at least that hadn't changed.

"What's the matter SourWolf? Cat got your tongue?" Stiles smirked back over at him as he folded the shirt.

After a heartbeat Derek reached over to the pile and grabbed another shirt and started to fold it beside Stiles and said quietly not looking at Stiles. "You've always been a pain in the ass Stiles. Nothings changed. You're still you."

Stiles paused looking down at the shirt in his hand and wondered if that was really true.
